The forums are down D:

So the players have been paying for the skyblockislands site for the past couple months because the 6 months that crew paid for was over… Now everyone who was paying for it quit and we are left without forums. I was wondering if Crew could pay for another 6 months.

That was my reaction when I came back to the server from a 1.5 year break when I remembered that I had changed my name and lost my rank on the server.

If cyp is reading this.. is there any way we could get the forums handed over to someone who would be able to take care of them since you guys are busy af

 

I love how theres so many dedicated players willing to keep it up for as long as they could've. Sad to see it go, but Crew never payed attention to that server. If another person is willing to take care of it, I wish for that someone to actually care, lol.

 

Well, The original owner said he would take it back if noobcrew decided to give it to him. He said the chances of crew giving the server back was highly unlikely though. Either way if Cyp just did a few things like gave us 1.7 items, added us to these forums, got some staff, got advertising, and came on every other day to check for issues I think the server would be as popular as .net

 

Does the server still receive donations?

 

The server has potential if only it was cared for.

 

Or you could move here, thats a good option

 

I tried it a couple of times and it's quite a good server! It just needs admins - paid or unpaid - to keep the server going. They would promote new staff and the forums could be paid for by Crew for a year or so

We were thinking of moving Skyblock Islands to Mineverse.

 

so just merging it with the skyblock already there somehow?

 

Okay almighty administrator, let me tell you a little secret. You cannot, and I repeat, cannot. Merge. Servers. With. Minevrese. Mineverse isn't the almighty solution. "Hellblock isn't making money, lets not discuss why it has problems, but ignore it completley for months, before moving it to Mineverse." Thats why even less, less people, play Hellblock. Looking at the server, skyblock islands is great. It recieves more than enough donations to keep t alive. You should be embarrased that you, the co-owner isn't doing anything, while the kids playing it, are taking care of it on their own. Putting it on Mineverse won't make you or Crew give any extra f***s about it, and the players won't give f***s either. Why? Mineverse sucks.
