Staff Review Thread (Admins Included)

Only mods I see are, deku, krissy, blaq, Noveh, lycel, roblox, other ones just drift on and offline

 

Well, your timezone plays a huge part in this...although it is true that some of the moderators are very inactive, especially in-game. :/

 

Hence the all-nighter.

 

Well. There's too many Mods who don't come online enough in my opinion. For instance, I have never once in the whole year I have played Skyblock seen Darkstar online. Not once. And also, EnderDragon47 seems to have dissapeared. Saying that he doesn't play much anymore because not many of his friends play. If you're not going to play much, why are you a Mod?

 

Too many biased mods, and not enough active veteranship on the team.

I miss the old team.

This is just my opinion, so hear me out. I respect all the 'old players' saying that the old staff team was the best & the new ones ain't as good, biased, rude, etc. I agree with the fact that all the original moderators are great & they're doing a fine job indeed. But how about looking at the new moderators from a different angle? Sometimes, I feel like you're not giving the new team even a chance. Sure, some of them may be biased, as you speak from your experience...but not all of them are like that. I've seen people prejudice the new moderators, just because they're in the 'new team'. Eh?

To be completely honest, the moderators I see online in-game & active on the forums are usually the trial moderators/the new team. They too have their good side too. Why not look at it from a more positive view? Just an opinion on the whole 'new team vs old team' thing. ^^

 

Because not all these new members know the rules. If I have to ask 10 different staff members the same question and get 'idk ask another staff member' it's a problem. Every member should know the rules without thinking about them. And all staff members say when you report them is "I want a break" It's like no shut up. If you want a break go leave. You apply to take breaks, you applied to help. I've given the team so many chances, but they all can't agree with each other. I'd bet 25% of the team hasnt been on in a week, and 50% are biased. I'll be honest, some of my mod friends are biased. But they will never accept they are. If I got banned by some of the team, I'd ask for a new mod to take over cuz I dont want a auto deny. Too much stuff the team can't do that they used to be able to do.

I don't see any positives in the new team.
Hey, I may be biased to the old team, but I'm not biased in finding faults in the teams.

 

Normally a TMod will be super active, very by-the-book during the time that they are TMod. Once they get mod, they relax a bit and their true nature really comes out. It becomes easy to see if they are really good mod or not.

Ok I'll review only a few mods and include one good thing and one bad thing.

krissy_punk Good: Level-headed, active, helpful, responsible.
Bad: Sorry Krissy but I think you are a bit over-emotional.

jellybelly124 Good: Fun, Active, Friendly
Bad: I think you need to be more independent when making decisions (mainly on forums). Don't make an opinion based on what anyone else says

Dewmellon Good: Funny, Active, Experienced, Helpful
Bad: uhh this is hard... I honestly any think of anything but I will edit it in later if I can think of something.

Supermonkey000 Good: Funny, Approachable, Responsible, Friendly
Bad: your slow internet

Demon_Angel12 Good: Mature, Friendly, Kind, Experienced
Bad: (this may not be true) but I feel as though you like to associate yourself with certain people and avoid some others.

larrythebird101 Good: Experienced, Helpful, Friendly, possibly the best Moderator on forums
Bad: Inactivity. You have many servers to moderate so I can't really blame you here.

AmazingGraceGirl Good: Active, Friendly, Responsible
Bad: same as Dew, can't think of anything atm.

Shiningnova06 Good: Active, Helpful, Kind, Funny
Bad: (my own opinion) like Demie I think you have your own "group". It may make people feel excluded.

I can understand the inactivity part, I will admit myself I've been inactive mostly for the last 2 weeks as I've just needed to get things fixed in life. I am trying to regain my activity this week
