username changes

I belive that the option to change your MC name will run on a 1 Change free bacis and after one change you will have to wait a certain amount of time or even have to pay to change it again, however with pluggins and buy craft
if it sends to donations to the username won't this all COMPLETELTY change and mess around with donorships

Im saying when you are eligible to change your username, you can run through the ubersmart plan of evilness.

Ah but the thing is, the username will change with the logs, so what's plan B? Because it doesnt trace the username, but your UUID...

Logblock is updated to log user ids? I thiught it was still the crap dinosaur of a plugin that we had a year an a half ago when i joined.

From what the google is telling me, LB only logs the name of the player. So unless the plugin was modified, then it wont be logging the player id. Either way, this is just a precation. There are so many legless greifs and scams nowadays, the chances of getting caught have gone down drasticly.

Example: blaq. His island kept getting greifed. No logs of it. The greifer started to taunt him with signs. He ended up getting his island moved to make it stop.

 

Yes, but it wouldn't hurt to experiment it first, since your old username gets put on reserve for a certain amount of time, so that you can revert back if you wish to.

Unless the Lockette developers make changes to the plugin, nope, I don't think it'll be saved.

 

I don't know much about Lockette but I'm sure sometime in the future they'll make an update for name changing but idk if it still gets updated

I am pretty sure that I saw a thread about bukkit no longer updating to 1.8 too.

 

Pretty sure that's why we haven't updated fully to 1.8, not all the plugins are 1.8 compatible yet.

I personally don't want to change my username.
