Hellblock

I played it... , but sadly I saw it in its final stages of life the community for hellblock was dead and cyp and noob were trying to revive it when they moved it and well it hasn't exactly helped.

I understand many of you want Hellblock back on it's own server but it'll never happen, why? Let's be honest here I have never logged into Hellblock.net maybe once or twice a week but I'm not really active on it or do daily updates etc.

This is the reason why I have promoted KatoKillsMyGPA to admin Hellblock as I did not have the time to run Hellblock. Kato was assigned to;
- Fix donor/donations issues
- Daily restarts (Which never actually happened as the server uptime was 3 months+). Probably one of the reasons why Hellblock got corrupted but I am not pinning this on Kato. (ily kato).
- Making sure the server is running smoothly etc.

What a normal in-game administrator does.

One day Hellblock plugin got corrupted which caused majority of the players to lose access to their /home why? I never actually had the time to run Hellblock as I was busy running 3 large servers. Only way we could fix Hellblock was a reset. As we were resetting Hellblock we decided to move Hellblock to Mineverse so that way Crew & I can take care of Hellblock properly and make sure we don't make the same mistake twice. This way I can be active on Hellblock (as it's on Mineverse) and take good care of it as well as all the other 15+ gamemodes on Mineverse.

Reading the comments most of you are complaining about how Hellblock isn't the same anymore and you're wrong. We only reset Hellblock and moved it to Mineverse and I don't see how Hellblock has gone from good to bad because we moved it to Mineverse.

If you're seriously not going to play Hellblock because it's moved to Mineverse it's your loss.

 

Daily restarts; There are restart plugins, which you could probably make it restart every day.

I laughed when I read that.
The plugin is the same, the way it works is the same, well kinda, last time I went on the MV one there was money.
It's not the same, It's not the same community, some people on MV are massive d***s, yes some on the original HB was, but theres more on MV, again, the community, there is hardly any players on MV HB, even though it was a little amount, there was more on the original HB, I could write a s*** ton more, but I'm lazy.

It's the community that's changed, that's what we want back, we want to see our friends again, oh and you may just say "Play it on Mineverse". Well no,
- Lag.
- Money. (Unless that's changed, idk)
- People who are d***s.
- (As far as I know) Ranks


We just want the f***ing community, look at all these posts about the community and about all the reasons why the MV version sucks, we don't f***ing care (well most of us) if it's restarted, these people are/were my best friends, I've talked to ONE of the old HB players ONCE in the time it's gone, no one wants to lose friends.

If the server gets corrupt again, find a fix, even restart it.
Kato was supposed to do them things, he did most, but then sometimes not, get another or a different admin, or just everytime you're going around fixing things on servers, go to hellblock, it's not that hard to go on one server and fix something then go to another, if you don't have time do it later.

I don't know what to f***ing type, some of this may not make sense, whatever.

 

I mean this in the nicest way, so please don't get mad/annoyed at what I'm about to say. No one takes care of the Hellblock on Mineverse. In fact it's one of the reasons I resigned. After about a week in, I noticed a couple major issues that needed to be solved.
1. Players can silk touch grass, which can easily fixed with a plugin.
2. Players don't get any money from voting, but it tells them that they do. This has been a problem from day 1 and I have seen endless reports on the mineverse forums, and nothing has been done.
3. The stupid skyblock plugin that you decided to add, gives players tons of illegal items, such as ores and obsidian.
4. Just more of a complaint, but you are still to transfer our donation ranks, and it has been over 3 months since Hellblock moved.
5. You didn't give moderators the permissions we needed.
• Moderators don't have World guard bypass, so I couldn't destroy the nether portals that some players had built in the beginning, and I had to wait for the players to get online.
•Moderators don't have the permission to delete warps and find out who set a warp. So basically if someone set a death warp, I couldnt do anything, and people were begging me to get their stuff back that they died with at the warp.
•I couldn't do anything about illegal chest shops selling soul sand and lava buckets.

It's about halfway down the page on that sub forum.

for some reason, it was moved to the help archive and nothing was ever done. That's the amount of respect Hellblock got on mineverse.
Once again, I mean none of this as an insult, I'm just trying to show you that the Hellblock on Mineverse is far different from the old one.

Second, I'm going to laugh at your comment because community doesn't stay the same forever. New players join, players leave, people stay etc. It changes everyday.

Kato did not have permission to fix donor issues, we had to call for you, a busy man, to help about donation issues.

Yes, most of us knows you are a busy man, I don't remember when I last saw Crew, I remember that he rarely typed in the Moderator area and you rarely saw him in game. I don't know what he is doing now, is he answering in Moderator area, is he working on the server outside it, is he just being a lazy s*** that leaves the work to you since he trusts you.

Yes, it our loss. We know that.

 

1. Hellblock is different to Skyblock. It's fine they can silk touch grass.
2. You're right and I fixed this long time and I just checked the config again now and I added a little mistake which is now fixed and I wasn't told about this until now, thanks.
3. Yes players were able to get unobtainable items on the first few days but I disabled challenges.
4. I already moved few players donor ranks over to .org as they wanted a donor rank on .org

 

Just a heads up, still waiting for my Lavagod, lol.

 

But it's illegal to trade dirt, as they can island farm, but it's legal to trade grass as donors get it in their kits...
