[Evisaboss] IP/DDoS Threats [Jelly] [Accepted]

Id like to come out swinging here. I did NOT threaten to DDoS him. In fact, I never made any real legitimate threat. I simply told him that he is messing with someone in a field he doesn't want to mess with. I told him my power over him (already on top of having donated $25) but that I am a sophomore in high school who has the training of someone with 30+ years of training compressed into 9. I'm currently 16, so yes, I started this training when I was 7. That's besides the point here. My point is that I have mentioned it to him multiple times to stop spamming over the course of 4 or so days. I don't have any screenshots, and I apologize for that, but he is CONSTANTLY posting the same thing.

"buying Iron and Pistons, Message me!"

He posted this message about 25 times within 5 minutes. doesnt seem like much, but by the 5th time he posted it, everyone online knew about it. He continued to post it anyway. I got pretty-much fed up with it and told him straight up.

"If you continue to spam with your great deal, I'm gonna have a problem with you and it wont be pretty"

He simply replied something along the lines of, well

"No "

I quickly replied (again, not exactly, but close to)

"Uh, yeah you will or im gonna stop all of it."

It was about then that I told him my place in the world of technology and Cyber-security. I told him that I have taken peoples internet down for a week at a time. I'm not someone to mess with and if you do- you will surely regret it.

He then began to harass me about my work and how im pretty-much useless.

This is my case. If you want to see it all, it happened around 3:15 EST today. I'm not stupid, I know there's a log. I ran a server twice the size of .net last year. We ran the same system as you (bukkit/spigot combo)

A few things to consider when you're making your choice:

I donated 25 bucks.

I would have never done anything to him (or his petty internet connection) unless he had fired a threat towards me.

I am not a threat, more of a shield. I protect the data of a few thousand students at school from cyber attacks... daily.

I am not one who takes these threats lightly. If I was of staff position, I would have banned him immediately, but I don't have that authority here so I resorted to telling him off. (A staff member of my server took someone who harassed him to court. The kid lost all access to computers for 4 years.)

Next time he posts stuff excessively, ill be sure to just fill out a report rather than 'threaten' him.

Okay first: Mentioning donor ranks will not help you in this appeal.
Second, lying wont get you anywhere you said stuff far worse than that.

DDoS (IP) threats are highly illegal, now explain why you said this?

 

I was pretty much fed up with him. I would have to go to insane measures to get his ip. I was hoping the note of being able to would scare him off.

I didn't read the rules on appeals. I never expected to be in one, nor to be filling one out.

On another note: this kid is 12. He said some things to me that could be ruled in court as harassment.

 

Can we talk on skype by chance? Id really like to communicate. Feel free to bring one of your mod/admin buddies along to be a witness.

 

He wasn't the one banned you were.
And even if you had to go to "far measures" to get his IP why would you say it anyway? DDoS threats are a big deal.
Also I have more evidence than just the threat.

So anyway, give me a good reason as to why you would threaten him.

Scroll down a little bit. you'll see his posts towards me that are harassing. I get DDoS attacks are a big deal, you guys obviously take them very seriously. I've been shot at before after preventing one. I was 3 inches from death last year. I would never do anything to him. The best I have at home: Command Prompt. I'm 18 hours from the nearest place to do anything legitimate. Not about to hop in my car and drive there either.

 

I'm in no hurry to be back on the server. I'm totally fine with being banned for a while, I have some work to do anyway. But, Id like to get this taken care of soon. I have quite a bit on my plate right now and would like to get some things finalized.

I meant on your log! He actually reverse threatened me and called me useless.

 

That proof is on my laptop which I dont have access to. But even if i do see proof of him saying that, it wont be bannable only warnable.

Command Prompt is very relevant. Its a minor tool in ddos and its all I got here right now.

I am totally flooded right now. I was one of the first people to know about the sony hack. I know things that everyone in America besides me and 5 other guys know. I'm treated like crap and take out anger on little things. I feel horrible taking out anger on other people who quite frankly have nothing to do with what im dealing with. I have definitely learned that taking out anger only brings me to this. Me 'at my knees' asking to be able to play again and the lost trust of those who watched me threaten Bryan.
