Saying lag is necessary. It's important that mods know when lag is occurring. Some mods can see if someone is overbreeding (causing server lag) and can remove those animals. I realize that people overdo it. They get spammy. Adding this to the filter will likely cause people to say "leg" instead.
I don't think mods can find out who's making lag by who's saying lag unless you mean everyone because saying 'lag' makes the lag worse
When a mod lags or notices a lot of players are lagging they can use a tool to find out which island the lag originates from. From what I understand.
50/50 on this. And yes we have a command that helps find out where the laggiest areas of the server are.
My experience with this: When the whole server starts spamming lag. This is a sign a crash or a terrible lag spike or something like it has hit. Mods use the /lagg command to figure out where the lag originates however the problem with that is they cannot use commands when these types of lag spikes occur. So its useless trying the command With the above issue of not using commands, mods cannot use the basic mod commands (/kick /tempban /ban or /mute) with the lag spikes. So mods are unable to stop the people from spamming the chat. If people spam the chat with lag, we could miss all kinds of things. Some players decide to advertise, become abusive and more. If a mod needs to communicate with the server to calm things down, they often get their messages unseen. So adding lag and any variants will make a difference to these often spammy situations. Now with that being said and donor with colour codes can bypass the filter to alert anyone who cannot already figure there is lag, that there is lag. The youtube phrase will not work since they will just greet people differently. Pwnfilter additions are hard to get since most of the time they do not work to contain the spam but this is a case of extreme spam and maybe needs to at least try and be lessened.
