[.ORG] Let's reset warps every 2-4 weeks

Let's reset warp list every 2-4 weeks.

Why? Mainly donators are messaging mods that players are making /setwarp on there island to use there spawner or just to annoy them and like 60% of the warps are spam and useless anyway.

If this suggestion was to get accepted it's your chance to secure your shop better so no one can access your island and start making /setwarps

Now I know there is a tip on stopping Donators using /jump in your shop if you was to build it x2 thick by that I mean x2 walls, floor & roof or maybe x3 thick. (If you don't understand what I mean I can show you an example in-game). It will cost a lot of cobbles but it's worth it.

If anyone is wondering there is 13,000+ warps.

 

Sounds like you need someone just to Weed through the Warp list and Delete dead-Ends, Death traps, Typos, etc.

 

good idea.. it will reduce lag and what do you have to loose anyway?

 

Im still in favor of either limiting the number of warps each rank could have or making it so that mods have to set warps for defaults.

 

I agree wit hthe fact of resetting warps but we have precious warp such as /warp parkour and what not, and I would hate to lose those. I talked to you in game and you said you would refund the precious warps, but I would think it would be a hassle to refund EVERYONE'S warp that they really wanted and they have. Just something to consider.

I still want to go along with this suggestion though. It'll just have to be a race whoever gets the warp they want if this idea gets accepted.

 

I TOTALY agree with this idea because that screenshot is from today and the reset happened like a month ago and there are that many now

I like the idea, but then people will be able to claim other peoples former warps, and if someone has a favorite shop, they won't be able to find it.

 

Claiming other warps? Oh well. This will spice things up in all honesty. If you want a good warp then you wait till the second warps get reset and claim whichever warp you want.

You're obviously not going to get that. There are a few pre determined warps that cannot be "claimed" and are exclusive rights of the server itself.

* Allow island owners a command that lets them see the warps on there island, And remove those warps as necessary.
* Give players permission to only set warps on their own islands and not others.

I agree

 

Which meens getting rid of the Essentials warp function and makeing/gatting a custom warp plugin. I think they could handle that. Also, unallow setting warps in water or on fences.

the only thing i want to add to this is the amount of warps at the giant building which just had mods shops i shall list the ones i know.

these all take you to the same place, and then when your inside there are indivial warps to each shop, hmm
