I think it could prevent so many misunderstandings and bans where the perpetrator is completely unaware she/he is doing wrong! It would greatly reduce the amount of bans given out. Also, people would have no excuses like "But the rules don't mention it!" to hide behind. I just think it's logical to list every rule somewhere easily accessible!

Cyp may have denied that, but you forget that this is only my suggestion, not a demand. I just want to voice my opinion that there is everything to gain from this inconceivably simple action. It's so easy to do and would fix so much confusion and unawareness.

The best way would be to contact the player on the forum, and or a staff included via a message. With proper proof of you saying leave and whatnots, but imagine if that player was you. AFK on the island and all of the sudden you died because you forgot to look at the chat or something. Lost all your items of diamonds and such on you. Not fun right? So why would it be okay to do it to the other player. There should be some sort of design such as .org has of island limits and boundaries, wherein you would be able to, say, /islandkick (playername) from the so called perameter's of the island.

Whilst that would be a good temporary solution, what if they're not on the forums? Or there are no moderators online? Just adding it to the rules would be so easy. I highly disagree with killing an AFK player on your island myself. And an extra feature like island boundaries and /islandkick would be brilliant!

We need to keep everyone on the same page. We need to clarify the things that need to be clarified. We need to eradicate the misconceptions. But most of all, we need change. And you can bring it.

Adding a rule doesn't stop a player from breaking it. "No griefing", yet.. so many griefs. But as to the fact a player being there, other than having a way to kick them off yourself, there's not much you can do. (frankly it doesn't hurt much, either.)

I'm proposing these improved rules to clarify the current rules because some people are breaking them without knowing (people who wouldn't knowingly break the rules)

Also, so that players can't use the excuse "That's not covered in the rules" when they have been banned. (For knowingly doing bad things). Sorry if that didn't really make a lot of sense

I would be greatly appreciated if someone got some moderators to view this. I'd like to see some other opinions!

The rules need to be more available in-game, literally making the rule book a starter item. This is the only way to get people to read it. If they do not, and get banned, mods can say "well the rule book is there when you begin an island". Not every member can join the forums: i used to deal with cases where players were not allowed to get a forums account by parents and some players are only 7-10 years old and don't understand how to make an account. Then when I deal with appeals with illegal traders, I used to feel bad because I know the illegal to trade items are not in the rules from spawn, and they don't understand.
So yes, something needs to be done to ensure members see in depth rules in game. Something more than just /warp rules. or add on to warp rules basic versions of the rules we should know.

seriously... denying that is like saying "hey, just so you know, there are laws in this country, but you are not allowed to read the book on what they all are. heres a short book with a hundred out of the thousands of laws though. good luck, hope you dont break the ones you dont know about"

That's a fantastic idea! And whilst being very simple, it's the thing to solve all these problems!

Ok, we have a list of broken down and thoroughly explained rules here on the forums in the first section anyone should ever look (News and Announcements). If you're saying there needs to be one in game, then I think you should reword your suggestion.
