Why is there so many spambots and why are they coming to this site?

I was wondering why there are so many spam bots directed to this website?Its really weird.I've already saw one a second ago.

 

I've seen 2 in the last 10 minutes, I'm not sure what they're for though.

 

I see them a lot, and I usually try to tag mods so that they see the threads faster and delete them.

 

But why are they here?

 

They are usually promoting malware and links that, if you click, you'll get all sorts of viruses. They're just hackers who want to steal your information, I assume?...

 

So they're actually real people?

 

real people make scripts that make accounts and advertise, so no but there is somebody controlling when thery're made

 

Oh I see.So they develops a script for what its gonna say and make the account?

Or...they make the script and hack a leaked account?

It seems like the capcha isn't enough to prevent bots

 

I see them in game, advertising saying JOIN NOTAREALSERVERIPSODONTBANME.NET!!!

Sky is there giving Op to the first 10 people!

and like 20 bots are doing that

 

I have handled a huge amount, probably at least 120 by now. I see a lot, muscle steroids, hacking, and even Norton Blocked sites that are classified as "Pornography" or "Adult Content".

 

I remember on .Org a Spam bot who was soo stupid, It was 1 person spamming I was offline and took the report and It was a hour after the report was made and I come online to see that same person (Spam bot) was still spamming very very very fast... O.O In global chat the poor players..

Some of them our from our beloved rival server and some are just people who want your info.

If you see one just press the report button and tag an online mod.

 

Rival server? Can you elaborate on this? I have never heard of someone mentioning skyblock having a rival server.
