When someone votes for .net (like a lot of people do) they also get counted as a vote on .org which I don't think is fair because sometimes they get a diamond, a spawner or even donor and that's not right because most of the people voting for .net have never even been on .org yet they're getting donor when there are quite a few .org players who aren't very rich so they can't afford donor. In a way what I'm suggesting is that there be a separate link for people voting on .org
I dont really know what is the purpouse of this thread. U do know that if someone wins something it doesnt reduce your chanses to that same prize right?
Yes, I do know that but if someone who has never played the server comes on and is a Donor it's not exactly fair.
No support again. It's not just .org and .net connected it's also HB. And also, getting the rewards is a great thing! You could start out with a diamond or a spawner auction it, and get the money strait off the bat
Voting is good as it is, no support~ Edit: If there were separate voting pages for hellblock and org, net would no longer be in the top servers thing, so we'd get even less recognition.
You could say the same thing about Hellblock too, this voting and getting things on all servers is great for the multi-server players
I don't see how it matters. You see, the voting system is randomized. Think of it like there are 1000 numbers in a pot. If you randomly choose the number 1, then you get a spawner. Every time you vote, it then picks a random number. If the number is 1, then you get a spawner. This is different compared to something like a machine at an arcade. Those things are designed to pay out every certain number of times. Let's say every seventh turn, someone hits the jackpot. I would understand your annoyance, because that means that if someone voted on .net and won the jackpot, then they're stealing from whoever actually voted for .org. However, that is not how the voting works. Every vote is independent and as such has no effect on any other players. I don't understand this suggestion at all, and it's not a matter of being a .net player.
What I meant was that if you randomly go on .org and see that you are a donor, it will encourage you to play.
No Support on this. Reasons being: - Org isn't as popular as Net and doesn't get as many votes. The vote help all of the servers get noticed. - If someone gets a spawner or donor rank on the other server, they may join it and love it. So it encourages the player to try out the servers. That is what is wanted. - The more votes we have, the more players and better publicity we have for the servers. The votes count to get the server higher up in the hierarchy on the websites.I'm sorry but it just doesn't seem logical to do.
As someone who plays ORG and not NET I support the point. Although I agree that the idea of bringing people into ORG through this is nice it doesn't work, since when you vote you don't see what you won, only if you log on. Also the servers are different, when I vote for .ORG I don't want my vote to count towards .NET, since I don't like that server myself. This means each time I vote I am promoting 2 servers, one I like and one I do not. WhippyCleric
I find the voting system to be financially helpful to me. I can sell $1000 on .org or 10 cobble hellblock for a diamond on .net. If they were separate and I could only vote for 1, then I'd have less diamonds on .net.
