God Books

I've read reports and appeals of people who have god books because they are illegal. I'm assuming that they aren't just a book with /enchant all so what are they and why are they illegal?

 

They're basically books with enchants of like 3k.
I heard they were dropped a long time ago and are illegal to own now.

 

Possesion of GoD books need to be in the rules tho... ._.

How were they made because mods like Too Many Items only allow up to level 127. But how are they any use because after level 6, they can't the put in an anvil or does the book actually have sharpness 3000 on it and can be used with it?

Geek (I think) used a special plugin, back when he was dev, like I said, it was a long time ago.

 

If you have a client you can re write limits, along with plugins and whatnot im assuming.

I still wonder why it had to be Lvl: 32767

I think the reason why they were so powerful was because when you attacked a mob, it would die instantly and would drop 1000s of loot as it had a high level of looting. Say you attacked a skeleton, I think it would drop a whole inventory worth of bones or something. I believe this is why they were made illegal to own.

It states that the loot could be infinite

I think it's the highest xp level you can get

 

It's more then what can full your inv, and it would lag so much, maybe even crash.
