8. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I think I should be unbanned, because I have already learned my lesson. This griefing occured before the first griefing ban, and I know that griefing is a terrible thing to do. I have promised to not to grief again, but this occured before the other ban. I am also very sorry for the person I griefed and will provide repayment for the blocks I have destroyed.

I griefed because I saw some glowstone blocks I wanted.

b12345blue you were banned for griefing before, and in the appeal you said that "This is the only time this has happened" and "I know in the future that I will get banned if I grief again"

So you lied on the previous appeal. Why should I trust anything you said?

 

Because this griefing happened before that griefing, and this has just come up now.

But if thats the case, then you lied to taylor1211 when you said "This is the only time this has happened"

 

When I said that, I was thinking only of me having have griefed that person, and not this time. As far as I knew, that wouldn't have pertained to this, since I wasn't thinking about this griefing.

 

Even though that may have been your intention, that's certainly not the impression that I got from reading your post. Either way, at best you were being ambigious, and at worst it was an outright lie.

Futhermore, you said that if you griefed again you'd accept a permanent ban, and you said this knowing full well that you'd already griefed other times.

Have you griefed anyone else or broken any other rules other than these 2 times that you haven't been caught for?

 

To the best of my knowledge, I have not broken any rules other than these 2 times, and I have not griefed anyone else except these 2 times.

That doesn't sound reassuring "To the best of my knowledge" to me says:

1) You're not being serious about the tone of the appeal - You either broke more rules or didn't. You wouldn't happen to just "forget" that you broke the rules.
2) You don't want to take responsibility for your actions.

Furthermore, you yourself agreed to remain banned if you griefed again, were you lying about that too?

 

I was not lying about remaining banned if I griefed again, but this happened before that first ban, and no, I didn't grief anybody else.

You clearly knew that griefing was already wrong when you were caught by Taylor. Granted that you may have griefed around the same period, even before. But I have no doubt that you would've used the same tactics to get out of that grief too. You are excusing away your promises on a technicalicality of time, rather than focusing on your responsibility towards the server and other players. This is unacceptable.

Furthermore you are lying again on your appeal. In your previous appeal you stated that you had been banned before for fly-glitching, which is also breaking the rules. So this makes this at least your 3rd offence, and also means that you lied in this appeal.

At this stage, I see no reason to unban you. I'll give you 1 more opportunity to:

1) Apologise to Brooke4ninjas for griefing their island.
2) Tell me why I should unban you
3) Tell me what you'll do to make up for what you've done if I choose to unban you.
