Marry

So, I was on another server and it had the marriage plugin. So I thought of some things about the plugin.

Good:
It will make it easier for people who are getting married on skyblock to get married.
It will encourage people to build places to get married improving how much money/grass/diamonds people have.

Bad:
People will spam marriage requests and people will get married and get divorced repeatedly spamming the chat.

This may have been suggested before but tell me what you think about it please.

 

No support. There is no need for it. Also, what if 2 people want to get married to the same perso? ;p

 

I agree that it isn't needed but I thought it could just be a fun add on.

Online dating isn't encouraged, this was the reason it was denied before.

Except that almost all donor250+ and mods have dated someone on the server and hosted a wedding for it, so your argument is invalid. We've even stopped taking action against the people looking for dates because that would be hypocritical.

The reason why it shouldn't be implemented is that it is very unnecessary and will definitely spam the chat and/or popular people. Mods, being well-known, would likely get requests as spam from many different people, well intended or not. It could also be used to force someone to respond to you, similar to /tpa requests.

 

I'm a sucker for romance. I like the idea, minus the spam it could potentially create.

 

I've gotta so no support. I mean I work on an island with my real gf but I just feel it would just be another prefix and complication to the server

 

I agree with this but if it is possible, Noobcrew or cyprioticmerks could edit the plugin so there is a /tmarry command which toggles if you can get marry requestd
