Hopper for Redstone Contraption?!? (.NET)

I am making a Smooth Stone Generator and the video I was watching requires 2 hoppers and I would like to know if it is LEGAL to make. Let me know if I can make the hoppers for it.

 

It Is Illegal to make Hoppers. so that Is Impossible. sorry.

 

are you sure because I have seen people wearing them as /hat.

 

You can still make hoppers, just not place them. On net at least..

 

oh because I was going to make for a generator on my island

 

You will not be able to place the hoppers.

Um is there something I can use in place of a hopper clock?

 

You have to be in presence of the gen when you do it, and hope that CLAG wont take it,

 

Uhm, I'm not the best with redstone. There's always a more basic redstone clock using repeaters? Just search redstone clock to see the more basic ones. And I believe I've heard of people using item elevators for clocks, but you would need to be wary of clag with that one.

 

I have another stone generator set-up, built by Shiningnova_06, it doesnt require the use of hoppers, but you have to mine the stone yourself. If you are interested in building it I can post screenshots

 

I found another design and am uging that insead.

 

So is this resolved then? Can I lock this?
