Hello everyone! I shall keep this thread simple and to the point. Thanks to NIH301 and myself, we have come up with a basic list of teamspeak rules that shall be posted here for further in-depth explanation. If you have any questions regarding these rules, or have a suggestion of a rule to be added, then feel free to comment below.

    Player Rules
    - No offensive language.
    - No spamming the channels or clients (with messages/pokes etc)
    - No advertising other servers.
    - No verbal abuse of other players.
    - No racism.
    - No posting inappropriate links
    - No abusing permissions (donors)
    - No posting pornographic images, or having these as your avatar on teamspeak.

Hence why we are making these rules to attempt to cut down on this kind of language. We are in no means attempting to ruin, or spoil anyone's fun, but we are trying to keep a civil and proper teamspeak that everyone can get along together on.

If people don't want to hear cursing, then they can go into another channel. Thats the way its been.

If people don't want to hear cussing and ask you to stop, then you should. That is common courtesy and respectful to the people around you. They shouldn't have to leave because of someones foul mouth.

Thats the way it is on teamspeak, everybody curses! If they don't like it they can leave. As said before, there is other channels.

And I am the admin on teamspeak. If someone comes to me and tells me people are forcing them to leave because of their foul mouths, especially when they ask others to stop, then I shall take the appropriate action against said players. These are the rules and everyone has to follow them. If you don't like these rules and don't want to follow the rules set for teamspeak, then you can leave, whether that be by choice, or force.

Your telling me to leave? I don't understand why they can't leave. Also, they're not "forced" to leave, they can if they don't like it.

I'm not telling you to leave in the slightest, but if you are honestly saying that people should have to leave a channel because of another players rude behavior and foul mouth that is inexcusable and extremely ridiculous. No one should have to leave a channel due to not being able to handle another players language. You can either watch your language, especially when asked, or you can get punished. This why the rules were created. The TS is a by-product of the server and on the server we do not allow cursing and foul language, so why would we allow it on the TS in excessive forms? That wouldn't make sense at all.

Edit: I'm not trying to be rude to you in anyway, I am merely stating that the rules are to be followed to some degree and I would like the TS to be an open and welcoming place for anyone in the community to join. Some players are just more sensitive to language and if others would be aware of that, then the community on TS, as well as a whole can grow appropriately. :)

Swim I don't think you get it. This is a public service being offered by Noobcrew. If the rules are to keep it friendly and inviting, then that is the rules. If you want to have a place to speak obscenely to each other, than go find that place or make your own server. Just because "it has always been that way" does not mean that it was right or even allowed. You have to remember that the majority of the users on skyblock are minors so be courteous of them. I have met players that were on teamspeak that are literally mentally messed up because of people posted porongrapy links disguised as youtube links. This person was 12 years old at the time and is now haunted with the memory of what they saw (by the way distributing pronography to minors is felony in the United States). I for one have no interest in being subjected to such disgusting things that are sometimes talked about on teamspeak or shared so I am glad that there is finally rules to combat it.
