I created a too big isle and now my storage got deleted.

Hi guys.

When i builded my isle i did not now excactly how big i could build.
I builded a nice area for my trees to grow with a big a** storage place.
When i came online like 25 min ago I saw my half isle got disappeared and i lost all my items (i dont care about the items) And all my rare stuff.

Total value around 3/400 diamonds

I don't think you guys can rollback this But why should'nt I ask.

Did a nearby island reset? You may have built into their territory and they did /newisland replace, which removed what went over the deleted territory.

 

You get an area of 99 x 99 blocks. Which is 49 blocks out from your bedrock in all 4 horizontal directions.

It sounds like you may have built beyond your area and the owner of that island reset. When an island is reset the data is lost, so it could not be rolled back, and likely would not be, since it is technically not your space.

Therefore, I do not believe that there is anything that can be done about this, I'm sorry about the things you lost.

Now that you know the size of your island space, can you confirm that the area that disappeared is outside of your space? Just to make sure that this was not some strange glitch or something.

 

I feel ya bro... I lost a building entirely made of quartz and my values chest to a newisland farmer, but there really is nothing we can do about it. :/

 

yup my neighbour got a new isle. The strange thing is that there was a big a** isle from another person, and now a new person gots the isle So i Don't get why someone else gets that isle.

My isle deleted from 43 blocks till my bedrock. That was the point thats strange for me

Wait, are you saying that the part of the island near your bedrock disappeared? Or 43 blocks out from your bedrock?

The mods cannot refund anything. The admin cannot rollback because your neighbors island would be affected. There's not much we can do

 

That is odd. Are you sure that you didn't miscount? And that you started counting the block right next to your bedrock?

Also, if this problem was caused by your neighbour's reset, I don't believe that a refund could be given. In the off chance that I'm mistaken, do you have proof of owning the items?

 

The logs get removed when an island resets. It is to prevent islands from resetting and not getting any sections back (could be used to dupe items if they convince a Super Mod)

the nearby isle is a starter isle with nothing done yet.

And i am not sure about my items I traded like 10 min before it happened but i have to look his name up, he saw my chest with all my valuebles inside.

And i am not trying to dupe. Its the 3rd time i lost almost everything i owned.

The main items i remember are 1 waterblock 3 beacons 2.5 stacks of diamonds 25 emeralds and 8 spawners, the rest were some grass some redstone some quarts but i have no idea how much.

I think the guy i traded (so stupid i forgot his name but i can figure that out soon) can confirm i had this items. But still would that be enough?

A player conformation is nowhere near proof. I highly doubt that you had 25 emeralds.

 

If the logs of the chest are still present at the spot, some of the items may be salvaged, but only if it is decided to be refunded.

 

They should be there. I don't see why the wouldn't but I think his neighbor reset so they may not.

 

I just checked, there are a lot of logs there... The only thing I was referring to is that if the island is very old and there are items from before lb reset, they wouldn't be logged.

Also, your island seemed to overlap the space where the next one over would be xD
I do not think we can actually refund this, though. I'll wait for an official decision.

I am not english myself so I am not perfectly sure what you mean. I know i got a way to big isle atm. thats why i dont build any buildings (also i lost all my items)

and do you have logs of my trading chest? the big one with all the rares inside?
