More [Mod]s! Get more mods!

CypriotMerks picks mods when it is thought they are needed. We currently have 65 staff members, and Cyp thinks that is enough, though we could use chat mods on Skywars from what I hear, to many advertisers.

 

I don't think it is enough, whenever I am on Hellblock I never see a mod, apart from Cissa sometimes, and she is always busy in other places. I think that Hellblock needs more moderators

 

There are several players that are applying for mod on HB, why don't you give their application your feedback and criticism so Noobcrew/CypriotMerks can get an idea of who is most likely going to be a good and reliable staff member.

 

I know there are people applying for mod on Hellblock, but we need more mods, not applicants, Cyp dosent care about supports or likes, he just sees how the player is doing and decides whether he think they are fit for mod, as for Noobcrew, he is rarely on, and usually too busy to do any looking at mod apps

 

I know that support from other players doesn't mean anything (performance-wise) and why it doesn't matter, I was merely suggesting that leaving criticism could help the player improve and have better chances of becoming a mod.

I'm going to risk getting lots of bad ratings here, but this is what I feel.

More than half of the moderating team is not active or rarely seen. This may be due to GMT time zone differences, but honestly, a lot of mods are not very dedicated to this server. I have noticed that some (not all), have joined the mod team to have this "increase in perks", and after a while, they get bored and tired, and eventually stop moderating.

My suggestion to Cyp is firstly, is to reform the moderating team. Kick those that are inactive as well as recruiting an equal number of moderators from different timezones. Right now we have most moderators from Europe, and America, hardly any from Asia or Australia(GMT+8). This ensures that the server will be fully moderated by at least one moderator daily.

Its not down to the matter of fact that we need more mods, we need more dedicated, passionate mods for the server.

Krissy is the only REALY nicely active mod but she's a T-Mod so at the moment she can't do much :3

 

Something for this. Some of the mod team have been around in the server for 1.5 years thereabouts. Its one single cudtom map, not everyone can keep themselves entertained for that long without having a break or just going a bit inactive and come on JUST to moderate. That doesnt mean that u should demote every single one of them just because they dont spend a huge time on the server. For example myself, i am curretly a tad bit bored of skyblock, but i go on hellblock almost every single day just to moderate. I might not be one of the active mods that spend over 5hours per day in the server, but that is mainly because i got nothing to do there when no-one needs help. It is worth it still to keep those moderatos since they do their jobs and basicly care about the server if they go on eventho they might have something more interesting to do at the time. Just the other side of things..
