As you may know, playing with friends is fun, but also challenging. When your fighting through the chat to talk to one another, it gets very obnoxious. That's why there should be a new command: /island chat. Island chat will allow you to only talk to the people on your island, (pretty self-explanatory), and be able to easily send a message to each other without the hassle of fighting through global chat. Yes why did they ever remove it, it realy helped with trading... maybe It wasn't available to use and monitor with social spy
There was once the command "/chat" i believe, that would switch to local. oh lord this command was beautiful. i am in full support of bringing this back!
From what I've heard, local chat was removed because it was used to advertise in secret. Please tell me if I am wrong, I don't want to look dumb for saying something that isn't true. If this is not the case, support!
100% support! it would make things a little quieter and simplier to build my only thing is that people may find themselves stuck on island chat but i still fully support this
ScottishArgonian that's why they have /chat global and local, and I'm saying they should add in /chat island. Also, I should note that I'm talking about skyblock.org, because skyblock.org still has /chat local, a99Bomb99. -FlimFLAM
I don't think this will happen unless one of the Developers can modify RROD's ToastieChat plugin that he made just for Skyblock.
Plus, like most chat plugins, it is based on how many blocks away from the person. That's how local is designed.
