this is amazingly true. what is painingly sad is that most people don't take into account that the average home computer monitor is only capable of displaying 60 frames per second(60Hz monitors) up to 120 FPS (120 Hz monitors/TVs) and as high as 240 FPS (240 Hz high-end gaming monitors/TVs). there are more faster monitors out there but these i just selected for ease of example. the TV i play on is a 120 Hz but i still cap it at 60 as i see better overall computer performance. but the most simple way of putting it, anytime minecraft makes over 120 FPS random frames start getting skipped and not played on the tv because there wasn't enough time for the monitor to display that frame.
