    Have you actually read ban appeals? Only rarely are they granted. Lot's of fun to read through them.

    They expect everyone to be familiar with the rules. They make no leniency for any of them. I don't think they care about donor status one iota. And rightly they shouldn't.

    We can just go and support mod apps for whoever you'd like. That should be enough.

    I believe, like in the U.S, that we should have a popular vote for our moderators. The popular vote would mean nothing and Noobcrew will always have %100 percent power over if one becomes a mod. The popular vote would just be almost meaningless, all it will provide is a somewhat shallow demographic that Noobcrew can look in to.
    All in all, a large amount of mods are only applying due to power, and we have to make the moderator more prestigious to earn to drive away potentially bad moderators. (and recommendations from other mods would help too)
    TL;DR: A meaningless election might be fun.

    Actually, most appeals are accepted, if the person actually wants to get unbanned.
