put them into folders sorted by version. in your mods folder have a mods\1.12.2\ and save all ur 1.12 mods there. Fabric has a rudimentary version of this feature, but wont load forge mods in folders anyways if you have it set up this way. Put all 1.19 fabric mods in the root mods folder. this isnt needed for 1.20 (therefore it wont be made). You can use viaversion (or ViaFabric+, or any sort of version compatability) with your mods Pretty sure the source is public too, you can create a fork of it and update it yourself if you wish
I am probably wrong, but I believe more recent versions removed that? If they did, you could always make multiple profiles or use prism or similar.
if you guys are using this mod and have been running into issues with joining the server and constantly crashing while tryna join, (from my understanding when i asked sky) it seems that the skyblock api is no longer there (no clue what the hell that means) and the problem thats causing the crashes are the staff notifications, when you go intno the sbmod settings turn them off so you can play normally again like this: https://imgur.com/a/sdvQC9R it seems i wasnt the only one experiencing these crashes and since theres definitely a lot of people who use the mod i wanted to let yall know of this
the api is what the mod uses to see a bunch of stuff about the server one of which is probably the staff joining so that's why it crashes you can look "what is an api" for a better description
yea i understood that now but i wasnt the only person who was having this issue since many people use this mod so i just wanted to bring it up idk
