    Hello everybody!

So basically, I noticed that the beacons obtained from wandering traders and /shop have different NBT data than beacons obtained from crates (at least on economy). This is kinda weird because the text appears to be exactly the same with both beacons. There are also 2 different types of totems (as far as I know) however, one has a capital "o" and the other doesn't.

With that being said, I was wondering if there is multiple different types of NBT data on certain items. Are some of the differences noticeable without advanced tooltips? Are some of them rarer than others?

As a rare item collector on economy, it would be pretty cool to have multiple of the same item with a slight difference in the NBT data in my collection. I would prefer these items to be on economy however, I am still curious about what there is on survival.

    Thank you!:D

I have no clue what NBT data is but from what I can remember, almost everything in the crates, if placed, turn into vanilla items.

Kit stuff like spawner kit are different from crates, but when placed they all turn into an "universal" one(Pink lored Pig Spawner), unless they've been transformed with a spawn egg. (Probably only on skyblock)

Diamond pickaxe from kit is also different from crate ones, and both are different from crafted pickaxes. (Idk what kits u got)

There's like 3+ variations of elytras too, one probably from /buy, another from crates and the last I know of was from donor elytra(or so I was told, wouldn't know if it's true lol)

Voting rewards are also different, altho I don't know to what extent as I'm so unlucky with those, but someone bought my jukebox cause it was from voting.

Guardian spawner has 2-3 variations, one from when u would use egg spawner on it and ask staff to get it back(idk if its the same as vanilla one), another from crate(different from vanilla) and the last one is obtainable by breaking any guardian spawner(different from vanilla, has cyan lore in it) (Probably only on skyblock)

Umm... I can't remember any more, but honestly this is more of an hassle than anything, especially when doing /shops find. I wouldn't understand why anyone would want to collect all this junk but u do u I guess :confused2:

Just a little bit of information for you all: the kit pickaxes are the same as if you made them with diamonds yourself.

Additionally, there are 5 spawner types. There are 2 older ones, now unobtainable, but the 3 that you can obtain include the crate one, which has a straight pink name, and the kit one, which spawns a monster. After placing both, you receive an italic pink Pig Spawner.

NBT data is pretty much just properties of a certain item. This could be patterns on banners, enchantments on tools, dye on leather armor, etc. It could also be the name of an item, the color of the name, the lore, etc. In most items, some or all of the NBT data is lost when the item is placed. This explains why DP/hunt heads lose their name when placed.

    Hope this helped! :)
