Global Show the [friends] tag when a friend visits your island.

When players visit your island, it says such as, AfkWithAbbie Is Visiting your Island

It would be great if it showed the [friends] label before their name, to know that the person visiting your isle is a friend on your list or not. Eg [Friend] AfkWithAbbie is visiting your island

Just small addition, but would be very helpful to include.

 

Yeah that's kinda my idea. I have a lot of really lovely friends on the server, but sometimes my friends visit my island and I don't notice, having the friends tag before their name on the island visitor annou cement would be a nice feature to include. That could also be a way of finding new friends which would be great

 

Could you change this to global as well? I think it'd make sense for both servers to have this!

two diff plugins and idk if the one that tracks visitation is open source, also not that needed but wouldn't hurt to add i guess? not many cons but not many pros either iygwim

 

Well pros to me would be knowing when our friends visit. I get frequent island visits and it's nice to know if a friends visiting, and could lead to new friends if a non friend visits you often. It's just an aesthetic suggestion, but I think it would be nice.

 

If you're friends with them wouldn't you know who they are either way?

Because Sometimes it's easy to overlook when you have visitors. My suggestion just simply adds a tag when your friends visit.

I guess if you don't want your friends knowing you visited them, just simply unfriend them and the [Friends] playername will just show up as, playername. Simple ✨️

I've attached an example in game of what this could look like.

Regular visitors would be shown in chat as, Player is visiting your island. As normal.

When your friends are visiting, it just shows a prefix to let you know one of your friends wants to visit.



I think this is a nice way to help your friends stand out a bit in the chat which can often get overlooked. It's also a way of making new friends. Because some people could want to add new friends for regular visitors they notice.
