What's up with iron all of a sudden becoming more expensive? When looking for shops I've seen people selling it 3:1 or 5:2, and not just the odd one or two people upping their prices, it looks like a LOT. I know that /kit iron is not a thing anymore for whatever reason, but it's really thrown me in for a loop as to why it's expensive in comparison to before. I was lucky to find a 7:2, chile.
People will sell for as much as people are willing to pay. 1 or 2 shops selling for high and then every makes the price that.
Iron has been anywhere between 3-4:1 for the past few years. It's all supply x demand. For the past few months, I have noticed it was at 4:1, but I guess demand has risen, and people are increasing their prices. : )
Supply has also dropped off. Also with the latest change to /shops find, there is a lot more visibility of stock, prices, and sales. it’s easy for players to work out what they can sell for.
That‘s just how it feels because they added the new /shops find owned system, so it shows you the shops with the most stock which are 1:1, 1:2 and 2:5. There are still a lot of 1:3 and 2:7 shops but they just have 10-50 transactions left instead of hundreds so they don‘t show up on the first few pages.
