I would just like to start out with in saying that I will be representing myself in this matter. I have no professional litigation experience or background.

Why should you be unbanned? In the last 10 years, I could count the amount of times I started up and played Minecraft on my hands. For whatever reason, the basic decor of landscape, "Grass" is this servers currency. I do not control that. I understand the appeal of having a prestigious island with diamond blocks and bedazzlement. However, my island is merely organic foliage that would take me weeks to build with the daily grass block I receive. I do not profit off of what I do nor do I find pleasure in breaking the rules.

I would like to know why what I am doing is wrong and not merely cosmetic.

Why is it the Silk Touch is disabled on shovels? Why is it that dirt trade is illegal? Why is it that /newisland replace has a 3 minute cooldown vs perhaps a few hours? I am not taking these items and turning them into Currency to give myself a competitive advantage. I am placing them on my island for where they will stay.

I tried discussing this with KingKong but he just kept repeating to me that I was breaking the rules when I was inquiring about why this was.

I decided to take a nostalgic trip and rekindle some childhood memories. Found a minecraft tutorial and decided to build a house. Wanted to add grass around that house. Had no grass. Found a solution, for which at the time I thought was creative on my part, how the tables turned I did not expect.

Minding my own business when out of nowhere I am approached by KingJohnSnow. They could not properly articulate what it is I had done wrong other than it was against the rules. How simple would it have been to just confiscate the items and asked me to stop? Not a very constructive way to moderate by just banning someone without a warning?

Am I going to far to compare this to this hypothetical situation?:

A law enforcement officer (KingJohn) approaches a civilian (Myself) ask me “What are you doing?” I reply with what I am doing. Without even hesitation, the law enforcement officer (KingJohn) reaches for his weapon and shoots me in the face, multiple times.

I think that is an incredibly accurate depiction of what took place on skyblock earlier today.

So was I banned because I did not seem apologetic enough or was I banned because I broke the rules "per server guidelines"?

Do not worry, I should be apologizing to you. I did not know how serious of an offense this was. I am extremely embarrassed. The little respect I had on this server, if any, is squashed. It is people like me that ruin it for everyone else.

Today I jeopardized the integrity of the server, and I come to wonder, is a one week ban enough? I think this should be 2, 3, maybe 4 weeks? To give me time to read all the rules twice over and understand how my actions, make the server an unsafe environment. I am a disgrace. A pathetic waste of cells. And for that, I am so very sorry.
