Resolved island chains

hello server team

with recent changes to island borders to prevent unauthorized access into locked islands, an issue has emerged in which players can no longer walk across island borders even if the island they are trying to walk into is unlocked, sometimes.

my question is is there a fix for users with multiple island 'chains' can use to fix this issue?

yeah I have this with my alts. unlocked islands, and also the islands that are locked but my main is guest added on and it gets kinda frustrating when youre building right at the edge XD

 

Water flow also stops at this boundary Which is a pain.

 

I think thats a whole different thing to handle tbh. Server can detect if a player is trusted, but water just flows. and it would be annoying to have water flow on your island from another one if its not your own.

just use packed ice, signs and waterstreams. items will keep going even when the water stops, and then the block right next to the island border can have water again to keep em going.

 

A different issue yes, and it's been there since before the new changes to restrict access to locked islands.
Mildly related though, so Drogo just mentioned it.
Drogo has found work arounds so not really looking for a fix.
