If /back is unable to be used I believe teleporting should also be as it allows people to simply use that and leave an account at warp shop to make there trips real quick
Drogo sees no where in the rules that the use of /tp is banable. Running of scripts to automate it, sure, that’s clearly banable.
Drogo’s reply was in response to Megan saying it was banable, but Drogo sees now she has stated it is only banable if AFK. Her capitalisation of ‘IF’ made Drogo think she had started a new sentence. Megan’s post reads differently if it were two sentences as Drogo thought.
Absolutely. Drogo thinks it should be permitted. In fact Drogo thinks /back should never have been disabled. The only reason /back was disabled, was to prevent people from running scripts but it didn't do that at all. Drogo reported a couple hackers running a path finding bot to sell, just a couple weeks back. The whole issue isn't about the use of the commands but the running of scripts, and disabling /back or /tp doesn't stop that! It is simple enough to identify people running scripts and report them, and let the mods handle it. There is a reporting system in place already. Removing the use of /back was akin to saying, "Well, a small percentage of the population drive above the speed limit, so lets just ban driving and force everyone to walk. Bonus being, we don't have to police it!." Removing the use of /tp would be akin to saying, "Woooahh! now people are riding bikes!!! Lets ban riding as well and make sure they all walk!!" Why not just block access to /shop and then there is no chance of hacking. Problem solved. Great!!! Drogo will add, that the removal of /back came at a time when many players were requesting an increase in the sell amount due to the fact that the task of selling is so mind numbingly dull. This didn't happen, instead /back was removed which made the task even more frustrating!! And Drogo will say again. It didn't solve to problem it was thought it would.
