Closed weekly or daily ma j

Recently ma j was opened for one round. It was closes a long time ago due to duping diamond armor. Maybe a once every so oftern with 3 or some odd mods watching to stop duping. Even removing the prizes and just leave it for players to have fun? This is just sorta food for thought and a more concrete plan would have to be worked out of course.

 

I'm not sure it would be fair or convenient for Kerahna to have to come on and host the arena just so we can have a bit of fun. The server has gone more than half a year without the arena, and I don't think having to wait a bit longer warrants such a drastic and labor-intensive intervention.

Also, many people play the arena solely for the rewards at the end. Grinding the same waves of mobs over and over becomes mundane and repetitive quickly.

 

Who says we can't add different things for mob arena to make it more fun? Like powerups, potion effects, pvp (not sure about this) etc would make it more fun

 

Potion effects and powerups based on progress already exist. Also, I'm almost certain there have been suggestions for new arena additions that haven't been realized sadly.

 

Maybe allow smods to open the arena too to make it eaiser for kerana. and from when it opened alot of people were like awsome and did not care if no rewards

 

smods arent usually on either. I don't usually see an smod online that isn't in vanish.

 

We rarely log on just to go in vanish unless we are doing something important (e.g a refund). I have also been playing Economy more recently.

As for the suggestion itself, maybe it can be done, but only if Kerahna would like to. I wouldn't mind overseeing a game once a week or something like that.

 

I see smods on all the time espicaky Agent on eco mayvbe this is bad idea I just thought it would be fun.

I am not talking about eco as I may no longer play eco for an amount of time due to a ban. You cannot blame me for only judging staff activity on /skyblock.

 

This does not realy apply to the sugestion about weekly ma j.
also Kerahna what do u think of this sugestion?

 

Just wondering if this would stretch server resources. If we had a weekly ma j a lot of people would want to join (myself included). Having lots of players logging on at a set time every week might lag the server. Also, the set time every week may not suit everyone due to different time zones so the time might need to be varied every week.

 

It realy depends when agent or kerana is free

this would be a horrible idea to do because just 1 round of ma j every week is barely worth it for a netherstar or your head lmao

 

its not for the rewards it just to play a fun mode
