Introduction:-
Hello, my name is BertBerry. I’m 16, turning 17 in almost 6 months. I mainly play on Skyblock. I’ve been here since 2012 and I am an ex moderator who moderated for over a year, but was then demoted in March of this year. So I am reapplying after almost 3 months because I’m ready for this once again and the break I’ve taken gave me a lot of time to think about it. I really hope I can get another chance on this. I really miss moderating with the staff team. So here goes nothing! : D

My time zone is Eastern European Summer Time (EEST).

I live in Amman, Jordan.

What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic (my first language) and English fluently. I also know basic words of Hebrew.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes, I do.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
I use Lightshot to take screenshots and Bandicam to record videos. I can also use my phone to take both pictures and record just in case.


Why do you think you should become a staff member?
I think I should be a staff member again because I really love playing on the server, I love the skyblock community and I enjoy helping people. With me being a staff member, I could help people in more ways than I do as a player. Plus, I have experience on the server as a previous staff member so I know how each and every command works - in game and on discord, as well as navigating and using the forums.

Although I mostly play on Skyblock, I know how Economy and Classic work as I have played on all 3. I also know the skyblock community very well.

I am active on all of the platforms so people can always approach me for questions or help. They can use forums or discord to contact me when I’m away as I use them often on my phone.

I have some qualities that could help the server such as:-

Helpful: I have always loved to help people in any way I can. I know how the server works as I have stated above, so I know most of the questions they ask me. If there is a question that I do not know I will try my best to answer it. If not, I would refer them to someone who can.


Multitasker: One of my good qualities is multitasking. I can do multiple tasks at the same time where it can be useful is if I’m helping/answering questions. I am also a fast typer and that would be very helpful in this case.


Unbiased: Staff members need to be unbiased especially when it comes to handling appeals and reports. There are times when a staff member has to punish their friends or anyone they know for breaking rules, therefore being unbiased is very important so relationships with players wouldn’t affect their judgement in situations.


Approachable: I am friendly and can be approached at any time. There will always be people needing help but there isn’t always a staff member online so people could always approach me on discord or on forums for help or questions.


Dedicated: Ever since I joined the server back in 2012, it made me feel very happy being there and talking with my friends and helping others. I am very dedicated to this server in every way as it is where I spent my childhood and I still play constantly. I really hope to be given another chance to show the server once again how much I love this server . I also had the pleasure to build a few warps for the server which was incredible.


Experienced: I was previously a moderator on this server, so I know how things work, all the commands, the server rules, the way appeals and reports should be handled, the amazing community itself and the great staff team.


Translator: Since I am bilingual, I can translate for the staff team if needed. I have done so a few times in the past for the staff members. I can also use google translate for other languages if needed even though it's not that accurate.


Professional: I know when to be professional and serious at the appropriate time and when it’s okay to be joking around.


How long can you be active on the server everyday?
I can be active from 1 to 5 hours every day.


How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I have been playing skyblock since late 2012.


Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)
I was banned 4 times in game, twice on NET for griefing and twice on ORG/Economy for player killing and making a false report. Also, I’ve been banned once on forums for death threats which wasn’t intended to be one but it was taken seriously so I understand the rules very well.


Do you have any previous moderation experience?
Yes, I was a staff member here for more than a year and I was a moderator in a few small servers before but they were shut down. I have also been a builder on some servers.


Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes, I do!

Wow, you re-applied! I am going to say Neutral as you are mainly active on Survival and rarely on Economy. I'm leaning towards Support. Just balance yourself on Economy and also be active in Eco Chat. Probably haven't seen you because of Time Zones. Good luck!

In my opinion, Bert was an amazing staff member- and I believe he will continue to be one if repromoted. He is friendly and picked up his activity (could perhaps be improved a little more). But overall he is highly experienced and is fully aware of expectations. Would love to mod alongside you Bert, support.
