So this has been a problem lately where when a player dies and a mob such like a zombie or a skeleton or a zombie pigman would pick up their armor/item and when killed they dont drop what's on them thus the items would be lost forever.

My suggestion is make the mobs not be able to pick up or wear any items so issues like that wouldn't happen. If it's not possible then at least make them able to drop the items that they picked up like armor pieces when they get killed

FYI You say economy in the title, but the tag is skyblock :p
Might want to change that to clarify what you mean

Support. For times when you die at /warp hostile, this isn't convenient. Although I am able to replace the items I might have lost fairly easily, it is harder for some other players to do that - especially when they are limited on resources.

But isn’t this the point of the “survival” gameplay? I mean we can’t keep adding features to remove the whole aspect of survival... Perhaps adding a decent drop rate of items on mobs, not a %100 one, but one to at least guarantee a player some of their items back.

I mean I’m not saying it’s a bad suggestion but at the same time I feel like we’re good with the whole “players losing items thing”, especially with /lnf and LogBlock (if they lost items to a grief). If we keep adding such things, players would never lose items, and removes the whole point of survival...

As for the whole this would be good for new players thing, firstly I highly doubt most new players would even have more than leather armor if they’re new. And if that, leather is easily obtainable. No grass required. Also if they died once at a warp with mobs, I highly doubt they’ll even go back until they’ve reinforced themselves, and if they die with diamond armor then, well thats the whole point of survival...

So no, don’t remove the ability of mobs to pick up items, because that’s apart of the minecraft survival aspect, however I wouldn’t be against adding a decent drop rate to save some people from minor stress.

I’m neutral. If the suggestion were a decent drop rate on mobs, then I’d support.

Support. This would be most convenient for the new players who haven’t obtained a much of grass yet, therefore unable to replace the items lost easily.

This could definitely be an excellent addition. However, I'm not sure if it could be done since it is likely a vanilla thing. But it may be possible!
    Thank you :>

Neutral, I guess they should higher the rate of drops from hostile mobs, I mean when a zombie is wearing your armor there could be a rate of getting it back, bc it’s still a survival game

I’m with triggered, I love the idea but I feel it’s being too generous to the players. I never take anything better than iron armour to warp hostile because diamond armour is valuable and it’s all a part of the risk of going to the warp. A reduced drop rate would be beneficial and there still has that survival risk when coming into combat with mobs, I support it but would prefer the chance anything from 50-80%.
