Colour change names

Why is there no way to change the colour of your nick on org? You can do it on Net, but it won't work on Org for some reason

 

You simply can’t. I think it’s disabled because if you change your color then it defeats the whole ranking economy purpose and it would make chat look a whole ton messier

 

Like monster said, it would make the chat a lot more messy. If they ever add special ranks on .org - skytitan or donor equivalent, then this may come in the foreseeable future is my guess. On .org at the moment though, Highroller rank is the equivalent to Skygod on .net which doesn’t let you customise your name or prefix either.

 

Could you elaborate more on ‘ranking economy purpose’? I don’t think you understand the point of economy.

Economy isn’t like Survival, because of the money currency people don’t have to spam their shop in chat every minute or so. The player base is quite peaceful and if you played economy you would know that. Every single other org reset (apart from the first) had coloured nicks for Highroller and Overlord and I don’t see why they decided to remove it in this reset.

 

The ranks are supposed to show status symbol’s, like high roller it is the top rank which is basically what someone who is a high roller is.

the chat is constantly being filled with player shop adds it might not me as much as skyblock but it’s still there. It’s mainly just a ton of afk high rollers advertising there shop every x amount of minutes.

 

The only shop advertiser is Term and he does it once every half hour I believe. We can colour chat anyway so why does the name have to be a specific colour? Also, why do the ‘ranks’ matter? Its the same on skyblock

 

I agree it would make chat messier
The devs have there reasons for not adding it to eco

 

But if it makes chat messy why is it on Net and not on Org? We've had coloured nicks in the past and it's been fine
