So as some of you already know, anvils cannot be repaired with the /fix enchant, which is understandable, as it doesn't have the health bar that typically comes with any item that you perform /fix on. But nonetheless it is a fixable item and I believe should have /fix added to it. Now anvils have an approximate life of 25 uses. This accounts to about 1.25 iron ingots used per anvil use. $312.50 per use if an ingot was worth $250. I think this is unnecessary since you already invested lots of time getting levels, lapis, bookshelves, an enchanting table etc and the anvil already costs you around $8k or 31 ingots to craft or buy which is expensive! Fixing an anvil will be like fixing any item, hold the damaged anvil in your hand, then type /fix and the anvil in your hand will be swapped with an undamaged one. P.S. There is also a bug with /fix When you perform /fix on an unfix-able item the cool down still resets to 20 mins But it would be better if /fix cooldown was removed. =D
Skyblock is a survival-based game mode which means you need to collect your resources and use them wisely. I would hate for this to be added - it would take away more from the survival aspect of the server. Sorry, no support.
That's not a bug. /fix cooldown was added to reduce lag. I agree. It would be too op and also remove some of the fun out of skyblock.
/fix cooldown was added mainly to combat afk mining. [which can lead to lag] Think about this: Diamond axes are worth around 6k (3 diamonds for 2k each) anvils are worth around 8k. Cooldowns were added to /fix so it is worse now than it was before Compensation: add an item to /fix that is worth 2k or 25% more than the most expensive item so far. Not as op as one might imagine.
Your logic makes absolutely no sense. Why are you acting as if /fix has a fixed value in place? You're aware this is a survival server, correct? Things can not just keep on being added because it's more convenient and easy for players - you have to work for what you want. If you overuse your tools and have to constantly use your anvil to repair them then that's a personal problem. A simpler solution would be to change the /fix cool down timer to 5 or 10 minutes because I agree that 20 minutes is a bit extreme.
Sorry but /fix is bought from shop.skyblock.net for a fixed PRICE. (varies due to sales) If you bought a private car park from the government outside of a hospital and then the government decides to let ambulances park there at any time (because the government can do that), don't you feel that you deserve a compensation because you paid for a PRIVATE car park in the first place? You are aware that this is a Skyblock server, correct? Many things need to be balanced to make things that would naturally be easy for players in a normal survival server applicable for Skyblock players. People worked 8k for an anvil, 6k for a diamond axe. Both can be damaged, why can't the anvil be repaired? Because it makes the game too easy. Then why is /fix a thing in the first place? So more people buy the rank that grants the perk. Dude, that's why /fix is a thing, to repair items. I don't need an anvil to repair my stuff. Like most people, I need an anvil to enchant tools with books. (and crafting tables repair items too)
1. You donated that money. 2. You donate the money and receive a rank in return that just happens to include a /fix command. This command does NOT have a set price. If you could get the rank from the store by itself then I'd understand. Skyblock is still a survival server. You can't strip it of all of its survival properties. The server is already balanced - iron is easy to obtain so I don't see the big issue. Do you not like to work for your items? Would you rather have everything handed to you? I wouldn't. Having everything handed to you would make the game boring extremely quick - you'd have nothing to work towards.
Although this is true, I doubt players will stick around if the owner nerfs their rank without compensation. It's bad conduct to say if you donate x you will be blessed with y and then the y is taken away from you because it technically was never yours. It's not about how hard it is to get iron, it's about the minimum amount of money lost when you use the anvil which is approximately $312.5 per anvil use. You want to max out a diamond axe? Only got level I books from your enchanting table? 3 diamonds = 6k Bane of Arthropods V = 16x Bane of arthropods I = $5312.5 for max Bane of Arthropods Efficiency V = 16x Bane of arthropods I = $5312.5 for max Efficiency Sharpness V = 16x Sharpness I = $5312.5 for max Sharpness Smite V = 16x Smite I = $5312.5 for max Smite Fortune III = 4x Fortune I = $1562.5 for max Fortune (No silk touch because fortune will be useless) Unbreaking III = 4x Unbreaking I = $1562.5 for max Unbreaking Mending I = $312.5 for max Mending So $6000+ $5312.5+ $5312.5+ $5312.5+ $1562.5+ $1562.5+ $312.5 = A grand total of: $25375 (not including lapis price or time taken to get levels*) *time is money I am not buying a max diamond axe for 25k. Nobody will buy a max diamond axe from me for 25k. You still need lapis and levels to enchant stuff. Anvils are easy to get in normal survival mode as there are mines filled with iron everywhere. I don't have god mode so I can still die and lose the axe to a zombie that picks it up.
Somewhat support I think it should be added but it should have a cool down like /repair and it should only be available to elite+ This command should on work on anvils
