So, this suggestion could be really helpful for both staff & players. Let me draw out the base of the idea. You would be able to link your forums account with a /forums command and will generate a link that will let you log in and confirm its your acc, or some other way, not sure yet. Once connected/paired, the player would hear like an exp 'ding' sound effect and maybe like have like a boss health bar (wither or ender dragon) and change the text to (x) Forums Notifications. /forums clear to dismiss. Pros: This can help the player not need to go back and forth between forums and in game if they are expecting a certain reply or message. (Staff): all online staff could get a little ding if someone submits a report/bug report/etc. This could also increase popularity of forums Cons: Maybe laggy? Could be a hassle to implement. Might get annoying (/forums mute or /forums unlink) Let me know of ways to improve the suggestion if there are any. Ty for reading (Keep in mind that this can be a 100% optional feature)

Honestly, the forums would be better to do this on. What I mean is have it like discord when replies pop up on the right hand corner of the screen. It would cause enormous server lag if it wasn't done properly- I know that, I'm not assuming. Honestly, no support. I do support the forums being edited so theres an overlay though
Ok, you kinda contradict yourself here. Say it was done 'properly' which I believe lee could do. How would that change your support status? Also could you explain what aspects would cause the insane server lag?
Doesn't seem necessary to me. Browser & Minecraft are one click apart. Seems unnecessary to put in a lot of work into something that can already be done easily. And although the forums and the server are connected, they are still two separate things so I don't think we should complicate things even more.
Neutral, As Mai said this isn't really necessary and I don't really see this as efficient as it should be. But the idea isn't bad maybe we could implement it into another area instead.
Like I support this, but I think it would probably be better and not as laggy if it wasn’t something simple. Like maybe just something that appears in chat but only visible to you just saying something like “You have 1 new forums alert”. Like I have absolutely no idea how easy this stuff is to do, but I think this might be the most lag-free thing. Although it seems kind of convenient, I do agree with others that it might not be worth all the hassle for the devs. Overall, I support this as whilst I’m playing I do have forums open, however I don’t really check it all that often, so if somebody needs me this feature would be very helpful for me, however I think all that is necessary is a simple feature that doesn’t require too much work for the devs and doesn’t create more lag as I don’t think the server could cope.
This is a silly idea. I think this would be too much work for what it actually does. What is the harm in taking an extra 30 seconds to log on to forums to check. People are getting lazier by the day. No support
