A re-introduction of SugarCane

Hey everyone! It has been a while. In case any of you have never met me before, hi, I'm SugarCane. I left somewhat abruptly during 2017 following my moderating resignation so I thought I would give some sort of explanation as to why that is and what I have been up to for the last couple of years.

Why did I resign/leave?
I can't exactly remember if I was very public about it, but I underwent another operation in May 2017 which meant I had long recovery time and would massively hinder my ability to play Minecraft as well as perform moderating tasks to my usual standard. This was also a time where staff in my timezone (UK) was scarce, so I thought it would be best to, rather than be inactive, resign from my position in order for someone else to be promoted in my place to fulfil the job properly. As simple as that really.

Another reason for me leaving was that I stared to drift away from Minecraft altogether. I lacked the joy I once had in the game and began to see moderating as a "job" rather than something rewarding in the end. With that being said, I have started to get back in to the game recently.

What have I been up to?
Without trying to sound cliché, I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life. Lately I've been looking at potential universities I want to apply for soon so I can pursue my interest in computer science (mainly
cyber security or AI). My mental health seems to be slowly improving as well, which means I have the confidence to put myself out there more than I used to. Oh, and I've also met HkTV (who I met through Skyblock) in person many times and we're even going on holiday (vacation for you Americans) together to Spain next week!!

I'm quite a private person so I'll leave it at that.
