Inactive Splat's Helper Application

Welcome to my application!

Heya, Welcome! I feel like I am ready to apply again because I just feel ready, I got active member and 500+ post count on the forums, and I got Loyal Member on Discord! But, Before I start, let me say this I have made other applications in the past that were extremely bad and immature -- people thought they were jokes. (Seriously...) I have learned from those and have matured in time and age, and overtime got better from those.

I can speak and write English as my first language, though my spelling is not always very good.
I can speak and write Spanish pretty well, and I am still learning more.
Then I know basic Hebrew, but very little. And I can also use google translate if I need too. And also with my monitor, I can easily be doing something on my laptop, then switch over to my google translate app. (Or I can ask my Alexa.)

I have F2 and my phone to take pictures/screenshots and I have F9 set to record my screen as long as I have my recording software "Action," and just in case I also have OBS, and Filmora. And... just to be extra sure I can record... I have my phone.

Why do you think you should be a mod/helper?
I would like the position of Helper to signal other players that they can come to me for help. I can be pretty active on all skyblock platforms to
help people whenever and for whatever they need.

Some characteristics I believe I have are...


Helpful-

Lets say someone needs help -- Moving a spawner; building; changing a spawner; asking a command like, “How do I leave Ma J?” ... I will help!
If a question thread comes up or someone has a question/needs help on Discord, etc; I will help.


Kind-

When someone achieves something like a goal in a game, a life goal, etc; I always congratulate them.
Example 1: When someone wins the typing game, (skychat) I always say, “gg,” representing Good Game.
Example 2: If someone shows me a new skin they made, I would say it’s awesome and congratulate them because every skin is a piece of art.



Fast typist-

I am a fast typer and can answer a lot of questions/resolve a lot of problems quickly. Unfortunately, my computer does not self correct so I can make typing errors when I am typing really fast and fast or if I am not looking at my key board.




Mature-

I am mature. You might say; “You hecking Got banned for greifing! How is that mature?” It is not. I have learned my lesson for sure. I have done some stupid things. I get it now since I have also been the victim. It makes you realize the impact you can have on others and it is not wirth doing things that hurt others to get ahead!!!



Funny-

I know how to make people laugh and feel better if they are sad; I always make sure to censor my jokes when necessary, and not go overboard and make a player feel bad.

Active-

I am active on Discord, Forums, and Skyblock. This is good because I am on when other helpers are not.



Experienced-

I’m experienced in life and know how different situations feel, and how I can make them feel better. For
example; Someone shares that a family member of their’s dies.I know how it feels, and I know how I can
make the player feel better.

How active can you be on skyblock?

2-4+ hours on weekdays when I have school, On the forums and discord I can add 30 minutes.
3-5+ hours on weekends when I don't have school although sometimes Ill be offline for about an hour to have fun with my family.
On most Thursdays I will be on for only 1-2+ hours because after school I have Hebrew "school,” where I am currently learning Hebrew.

Have you ever been banned in the forums/in-game?

Yes, I have been banned as previously mentioned for greifing and that brings down the support (a lot). I griefed someone and It was not OK. I have learned from that and I know I will never do it again because it ruins other peoples fun.

Do you have any past experience as a mod?

I do. Long story short I guess. A friend irl started a small sever where I was an admin. About a year after,
most players stopped playing and the sever went blank with a bunch of issues. Nobody even the owner
was able to do anything and I resigned from my position. But... I was an admin/mod/co-owner/helper etc; and I do have a bunch of experience with this position.

I like the activity, it shows you care. I just haven't seen the activity in game, nor you helping. I haven't had negative experiences with you, nor have I seen them occur between you and other players. Neutral. Good luck

 

Neutral, I see you online but I have rarely seen you helping, although everytime I've seen you in chat you were friendly and respectful.

 

Neutral, you have matured since you last applied (not being rude) you did do a lot of dumb things in the past but you have been doing better since then.

I haven't seen you much but it might just be me.

Oh also if you need something to check your spelling you can use grammarly it helps with spelling and tells you if you spelled something wrong and suggests the word it thinks you meant to say also I'm pretty sure it's free if I remember correctly, I used it for a long time.

Oh last thing, you said piede of art instead of piece of art in your application in the kind part.

From what I've seen, I haven't seen you at all in the chat, and I believe you haven't deemed yourself exactly mature yet. You don't exactly have the best history here (not that I don't myself), being banned for griefing, trying to promote your application through an alternate account. While I admire the fact you waited to apply, I don't think you've redeemed yourself just yet.

This is doubled, might want to delete one of them.

Neutral. You're a great guy you have learned from your behavior in the past and have gotten better at it which is great, considering the amount of applicants that have applied and didn't do too well. You need to work on activity more as I dont see you really often, might be me or my timezone or both. In terms of helping, I think you do a fairly decent job, though more would be better.

Fast typing is useful but in the grand sceme if a person gets banned .3 seconds earlier it wont matter

It means experienced with commands and knowing the ban time or if i should mute or not

I mean i see where you are coming from here but gg is just more of manners then anything like video game manners or something like that and with the skin thing if its bad you dont say hey thats really good you point out things they need to improve or else youre giving them encouragement to do the same thing but if its a genuinely good skin hell yeah you should say hey thats really good becazuse if you didnt itd just be rude but even just saying that is not exactly kindness its more of a pat on the back but peoples versions of what kindness is all different so i wont nit-pick too much on that

A while back you alt supported youre own application, Post farmed a while back , Immature, Unfamiliar with the rules not connected to the community enough

Although my brief interactions with you before were not bad and I believe that in some way, shape, or form that you have matured more, something I would like to see as everyone has said is becoming more active meaning not just fixed to one server but interacted with all server around.

Also some tips to help your application is to proof read it and not exhibit your weak points because that doesn't makes you stand out as a good candidate but someone who has doubted himself. Long story short on this application you want to put out the best, whether its your personality, skill, etc.
