Hello, my name is Colin. Some of you guys might know as CollyBird04.
I'm currently 14 years years old. Some of the other stuff I do besides play skyblock are sports.
I have a huge love for sports, I play for my high school football team. I also hope to play
for my high school basketball team as well. I also love to do coding and hacking as I find them very fun.
Due to this, I am in a class called intro to cybersecurity giving kids the basics of cybersecurity, coding, and what it is. Now, time for the real and relevant stuff.

Yes, the current recording software I have smart pixel, and it is an amazing screen recorder.

Why do you think you should become a staff member:​

Communication Skills: I am great with talking to people. I am big talker and I love getting to know people. I also can communicate well with people as well. This helps me out a lot. Like when someone is looking for someone to talk to for an issue they can come to me and I would be great with dealing with it.

Patience: I am a very patient person. The thing is, many young kids will be playing minecraft and on this server. Now, young kids are obviously going to have trouble with communicating with you. When little kids get angry or upset or something along those lines they become very hard to talk to. When talking to them you have to be very patient and let them get their point across. Without this patience I am sorry but you just do not have much hope as they will just become to much for you and you might get angry or even upset as well.

Typing ability: I can type very well. Now, you may be asking yourself why it matters that I can type fast. Well, with this I can communicate back and forth with players very quickly. Allowing me to please all the players that have questions or problems quickly and efficiently. (My highest recorded Words Per Minute is 123 and I have photo proof if needed)
Reliable: I am a very reliable person. First off, if there other staff needed on the server, you could shoot me a text and I would be on in 2 seconds. Whenever you will need me I will be there for you. If there is also any work for me to be done, I will get all the work done necessary as soon as possible.

Experience: Finally, I have lots of experience on the server. I have been playing since about early 2014. I was introduced to the forums sometime I believe in the summer of 2014. I know the server like the back of my hand it is pretty amazing. I also know everything about the website to. So, when people ever have questions on either the forums or the actual server itself, they can come to me and I will definitely be able to help them out

How long can you be on everyday:​

Summer: Weekdays I can be one for about 3 to 5 hours a day. I have sports everyday except for wednesday during the summer for weekdays. On the weekends, Probably around 4-6 hours, but if I am needed more I can definitely help out

School Year: During the school year I will be packed with sports and homework as I am also taking advanced classes. But, during the weekdays I can probably be on for an hour and half to two hours and a half. During the weekends, I can be around 4 to 6 hours.

How long have you been playing skyblock: ​

As I said earlier, I have been playing for a little over 4 years.

Have you ever been banned ( Forums or in-game)​

I know I have been banned in game for griefing. When I first played the game, I would go around destroying other people's islands. Now, why did I do this. I truly do not know as it was four years ago. I have matured a lot since then and obviously know not to grief other peoples islands as it is their property and not my own. And, for the forums. I do not believe I have ever been banned on the forums.

Do you have past experience for being a staff member:​

I have been everything imaginable. From a helper all the way to an owner of my own server. I have lots of experience with all of the different levels of staff and I am comfortable with anything.

Do you meet the requirements for staff:​

I personally believe I do. But weather or not if I truly do is up to you guys the people.

i'm going for neutral you seem like a nice person but I just don't think your ready. I rarely see you on maybe be more active on discord and forums, if I see your more active I will reconsider my decision. Good luck

 

lol You could of just told Bossgamer to unlock your previous application when you enabled 2Fa, still sticking to no support. Sorry bud.

 

I'm still going with No Support, should of told any staff member to unlock your 1st staff application, and try to be active and helpful.

Hi there, Colin!

I'll go with neutral support for now, with these reasons:

• Try to be more engaged on the forums, server and discord - it's important to know a lot about these and the best way to learn is by practise.
• Your reasons for wanting to be mod are strong, however I don't necessarily feel there are any 'stand out' features that set you apart from the other applicants.

With a bit more focus I believe you have the potential to become a very good candidate for this position. Good luck!

Neutral. You're very experienced (although I have yet to confirm it) so that is mainly why I choose neutral. I never seen you in game, forums, nor discord. Im active at least 3 times per week, Daily on forums and discord (except for weekends).

Very well laid out introduction. It's helpful and interesting to see your other interests and background. Although I hardly know anything about coding/programming, how advanced would you say you are in the area?

Including UTC is helpful.

This is an insane achievement! 123 WPM is absolutely massive and rare to see nowadays. I consider myself a fast typist and still only am typing at around 80 WPM (Record is like 95). This is a valuable asset.

This is a good approach for this section. Admitting your faults and moving on from them. It's good to know you've only been banned the one time.

As for your activity, I see a lot of people noting on inactiveness. I cannot comment on the matter since I do not play in game anymore. However I have just realized what a potential waste of time this was seeing as you haven't been on forums for a month and with no signs of returning soon.
