So to me the only purpose of this thread is to start an unnecessary rant, I don’t understand why you made this, staff have a job to follow the protocol, and they have to assume in order to correctly do their job.

 

And that’s why I made this thread. It’s cause they ASSUME TOO MUCH.

I get it you’re a moderator and mods are busy but it didn’t seem like it when you first replied to my thread.

If you have a problem with the server staff, go report them and don't make a big scene.

That was a joke. It's a common term/meme people use on Twitter to tell someone not to give them their opinion. I was just using it a joking context: I don't actually mind of course.

Top hint: If I'm not using any grammar (especially missing apostrophes) there's a 99% chance that I'm joking.

The example that you gave has various degrees of seriousness, obviously calling your friend 'fat' or 'ugly' in public chat would go by unnoticed by mods. Then again if it were something along the lines of 'you fu**ing fag**t' then obviously action will be enforced, because who would call their mate that? There is a bit of lead way but ultimately I would imagine it is in place to protect anyone else much less mature and developed than you.

I've had numerous occasions where a moderator has PM'ed me about something and has given me the chance to explain something or fix a problem problem that's arose without making a big commotion. Just be respectful to the mods and I'm 100% certain they will be respectful and listen to you as well.

At the end of the day, they have voluntarily given up their time to ensure the server is safe and secure from hooligans trying to sabotage any experience for another player. Hate them or not, they are going to be the people that'll sort your problem out the next time you get looted or scammed.
