In-game Rank Transfer.

So...

As the title reads.

we can add a feature where you can log into to your account using your Minecraft name and password though it has to be private and only the forums can read no moderator nor admins can.

and transfer the ranks from there.

Let me Explain.

So You have a skygod rank in skyblock.

If you log on mc on forums you can have that prefix and maybe even have special abilites.

This was suggested sometime last year, and my opinion stands:

Having some space where you can display your in-game name would be handy, but implementing this would make premium useless, and donations for the server aren't supposed to be for the forums in the first place.
As well as this: what sorts of permissions would you suggest are given to donors? I can't think of many that could be realistically given that Premium doesn't already have.

 

If you mean to log in to your forums account via your minecraft name and password (Linked) then it would create problems for people who dont have a minecraft account or used to but not anymore and they won't be able to log in their forums account plus if their minecraft account got hacked and the password got changed there's a possibility the forums account too as they are both linked. So I would go with no support plus it might be difficult to be added.

 

I don't even understand what this is, but if it's about giving donor perks on forums, no support. We already have premium.

 

Its about linking your forums account with your minecraft account thus you can only log on to your forums account via your minecraft account name and password.

 

well then forums would have to be associated with Mojang and update logins when mojang did and that wouldn't work lol

Neutral, I fully no support for perks on the forums and logging in with your minecraft account. HOWEVER, I would support if:

• The in-game name was the only thing displayed (ranks aside)
• You wouldn’t be able to log in with your minecraft account.
• You would have to confirm your in-game name via a code that the forums gives

Even if these were added, it’s a ton of work.
