Brewery plugin

This is a fun plugin I used to use on a small SMP server I owned way back.

It's called Brewery plugin, and allows players to ferment alcoholic drinks which do things to vision, movement, and chat.

Although there's not much of a point to this plugin aside from some fun, it'd certainly give more value/use to certain items (wheat, potato, and whatever you set the plugin to be able to 'brew'). It'd also spawn a new brewing industry, and could even open a new kind of business. So far, I've seen bookstores, banner shops, material shops, bakeries, skin contests, and maze races. I think adding pubs/bars to this list would certainly be a fun thing to do.

This plugin has very few commands, so it won't produce much lag either. No additional texture pack is needed.

 

Support. This server could use some fun plugins! I hope this will be a thing.

 

This would be rather entertaining, yet it’s not something the server needs at this moment. Still would be pretty funny though.

Ummmmmm this is a kids server? I don't think the plugin is a great idea. No Support. + adds lag

 

I explained above. It doesn't add lag because it doesn't require the server to run any additional commands. The only commands available are for mods, and they're not intensive at all.

It causes minimal lag, because all it does is add a few items.

 

Support, I like the idea, and it's not like kids will be pushed into drinking because of a Minecraft server. If you could link the plugin, it would save work for the devs

 

Neutral, I feel like it'll make the server even more unique, but I'm a little worried over the fact that this is a server aimed at children...

Firstly, though, there are other things which need adding, or further improvements before add on things like this can be added.

It only works up to 1.10x as of now, though. I wouldn't say it's a priority; just a fun feature to add maybe.

 

Guys stop complaining. It may be “alcoholic drinks” but it’s not like they should be called “alcohol” or “Vodka” or “whiskey”, they could be called an alternative thing if needed to keep this server (supposedly) kid friendly.

Neutral. I think that this would be a cool plugin to add, but I don't think that it is really necessary. It would just give the developers more work to do.

 

Called nausea. Not linked to alcohol at all.

I doubt the fact there’s alcohol in the game will cause any problems. I doubt it will ‘influence’ kids to do it themselves.

I don’t think you know how plugins work. A download link has already been provided. There will be nothing custom with and and all that needs to happen is this file is placed in a folder and is tested.
