Litebans Web Interface

Hello! Today I am writing a suggestion that is for forums, but also in the game.

Players are constantly asking when their friends are going to be unbanned, or wondering if their friend is even banned in the first place. Also, users are applying for staff and it can be handy sometimes to have access to the user's previous punishments, in order to make an accurate response regarding their punishments. Some users are curious as to what their own ban history is. I am suggesting that we get the Litebans | Web Interface

» This feature would allow staff members that do not have access to in-game at the time
to check a users history regarding their appeal.

» Allow users to know their current history status.

» Allow users to check other users history in order to make decisions that
the user's ban history is necessary.

» Other reasons regarding in-game issues that history may be needed.

I don't believe players should have access to other people's ban's, When it comes to other people's bans, unless there applying for staff it is in a way something that should be kept locked away between the player and the staff members in my opinion.

However I don't see this being a problem with your own ban's if it was easy to implement, then again you can always ask a Moderator about your own records so it is sort of unnecessary. No Support

I’m pretty sure we had this in the past on the bans page. Would possibly be a nice thing to have back again, but I’m not sure because it could have been removed for a reason?

After multiple years of experience with both xenforo and litebans, there is no way currently to only give a certain user just their ban pages. We have had this before, and no issues were brought fourth from it. Thanks for the feedback anyways

Theres some in game commands staff can use to check a certain player's history of ban, mutes and kicks and no support

 

Absolutely, but the point of this is:

1. A staff can just check their history with one command in game, that simple
2. If a user wants to know their own history just ask staff
3. Some player's want their ban history privated
4. Again, there is a command in game

I was just told by Kerahna that Lee is already working on this and is going to implement it when he gets time. fungamer333 can you please lock?

 

Ban Management is better and that's what they did use until Cyp removed it.
