/Afk

I was just thinking, but everyone who isn't a mod or higher can't do /afk. They have to use colors and write [NAME] is AFK. What all players or maybe ranked players had access to /afk? I can see the downside that people might spam it. There could be a confirmation that you need to click, so it won't be as spammy

Could be cost $5-$7 and could be in Donor250 and higher rank

If it was a buyable command that only skygods+ would have access to, yes. If it only gave an AFK prefix and didn’t make an announcement in chat, yes.

I didn't even like it that much in moderators, but I think the automated message saying you're AFK when someone messages you could be useful.
So no support if it included the broadcasted "X is AFK", support if not.

 

Idk rlly because u only have to write [Name]is now AFK. and it could be abused and cause spam. Maybe if only donor250s + get it or it is like $5-10 on the store.

 

My opinion on this is that if we are going to allow players (any, including rank) then the announcement will have to be removed. Even if there is a confirmation, that doesn't stop people from spamming the chat. But what I wouldn't see a problem in adding is the [AFK] prefix in front of someone's name on /list. Not in public chat though, as that would look slightly tacky. I wouldn't mind if it was a skygod perk or whether you'd buy it on the store, but if you were to buy it on the store then at least $7.50.

 

Support! I dont get what you quite mean from this, im assumimg you want /afk for anyone that is under a mod rank?

If that's the case then please, it makes it easier for people to know if the player is going to be afk and will hopefully reduce them to spam in chat

I like the idea of giving it out to only donors. Most are mature enough to use it without spamming but if they like to spam, there will be a kick or ban for them in the future. I don't agree though that it should be paid for, that's just plain stupid. CypriotMerks has enough money, he doesn't need any more. I also think that the prefix one is an okay idea, but not good. If Cyp will add this as a new command thing, I would like it not actually as a command, but as a timer, say, maybe 5 minutes. So if 5 minutes has passed and the player has done nothing, it will say in chat: "<Name> is now AFK." And when the player starts to do something again, chat will say, "<Name> is no longer AFK." or something like that. Which seems like a more suitable option. Less spammy and it's overall better in my opinion. That actually works on another server I play on and it works really good. Sorry this is so long but I was just stating my full opinion about this!

I think that would be too cheap.

 

If it were to cost money people would most likely do /nick and name themselves something with AFK in it making this unnecessary.
It’s also not a struggle to write out “is now AFK” or “brb” to then nick themselves [name AFK]...
If there’s a function where an automatic message sends back when someone messages a person who’s /afk then yes, support.
No one is relevant to a point where a broadcast saying they’re away is needed though...

/afk is used to tell others whether a staff member is there or busy / doing something else. This isn't really need for unranked/ranked players since they can just say "afk" but is needed for staff to tell if they are afk or not. No support.
