I'm actually still alive. My account was deleted by Cyp in 2016, but thanks to Sean, it came back to life.
I symbolize the toxicity of this community, thus getting rid of me would be a sin. There has to be a reminder that not all players out there are mature and friendly and this account does a perfect job being one.

 

I had some fun with the chat commands, made Cyp "say" that he loves children and got myself banned for that. I PM'ed Cyp that he should take it easy and Cyp deleted my forum account shortly after that.

God bless Sean for having common sense and knowing that hard deleting threads, posts, or accounts is, by far, the most immature, pathetic, and stupid thing you can do. It's the ultimate abuse of power, not to mention pathetic - wait, already covered that - and most of the older administrators were guilty of it. I had to come along and slap them in the face, telling them not to do it. They still didn't listen, so I cut the permission from every. Single. Group besides the super administrator, which was, at that point, Noobcrew and myself.

Permanently removing accounts is the most childish thing you can do as an owner. You may have well just stuck an 'L' to your head because you're a walking one at that point.

I dare say that I was the only competent administrator this server had. I dare anyone to argue with me on that.

How so? Cypriot can do whatever he wants, and the easiest way to stop people who cause problems from causing problems...is to remove them altogether. I don't know about you but trying to roast kids/argue with them online isn't what some people consider worth their time.

My opinion on that hasn't changed. However, I don't think Cyp was staff when I tore into the staff team for doing it.

Actually, I was. I was the least power abusive, as well. I only banned people that truly deserved it. See, I had a talent that's called being able to talk to people instead of just using cookie cutter infractions. I revamped the entire infraction system and no one was able to grasp why I changed it. Incompetence everywhere. There were only one or two staff members that used their brains. It wasn't the fifteen-year-old ones, either.

Because it's idiotic? There's a difference between permanently banning people and permanently removing their accounts or posts. For spam bots, it works. That's how it should be used. But for players that upset you? Hell no. If you cannot take any kind of criticism without reacting and banning people, you have to place in a position of power. Anyone surprised by me saying this clearly doesn't know me because I have stood by this since day one.

Also, the argument that Cypriot can do whatever he wants is flawed because he can't do whatever he wants. At the end of the day, it isn't his server. He's just an administrator. Noobcrew's the only person that can do whatever he wants. Even then, it's horrid to do that to your community, no matter how they act. Deleting accounts because you're upset with what they said just proves what they said was correct.

 

Go on, bud. We need a rant thread from ex-admin to show, how disgraceful and incompetent current staff team is.

I agree with some of this, obviously permanently banning/deleting players who criticize you, straight away, is rash, but if they are persistently criticizing you, not even in a way to do with the server, then why not delete them?

Cypriot can very nearly can do whatever he wants, he's obviously free to permanently ban/delete people off these forums, as we have observed.

If someone truly deserves to be deleted/permanently banned, then they should be.
