CYK! FINALLY Someone can stand up for the server, this is so very true, you are running skyshop, and things like that are required. Also, thank you, TPS is not the issue. I don't even know how to express how glad I am you made this thread, and for all mods: I am not hating, I am just stating. Sometimes we have to stand up for what we love to do Theo
I am confused as to why there is a question mark, but if you are meaning that what I love to do is blame moderators, no that isn't, thats what I am trying to say. I was referring to me loving to play skyblock, and if we let things like this happen, it will go downhill very fast... so thats why its good we are standing up
That's quite a book to state the obvious. Of course the server lag is because of how old and badly optimized the world is, however, if you think that spawning in a thousand sheep won't cause any further lag at all you're mistaken. So don't be mad that they're combating the only source of lag they can do something about (even if it is relatively small). Be mad that a reset hasn't happened already.
Who gives a crap? Are all those sheep dying in game going to affect your life goals? The job of a moderator is to keep the server running smoothly. So obviously they will do what they think to be the best decision. I also want to mention that stacked animals do cause lag. I am sure it isn't the biggest cause of lag on the server, but it is a cause and killing them makes some of the lag go away. I honestly don't know why people rated this thread dislike and rude because it wasn't. Cyk was just trying to defend himself. He was sharing his opinion as well as what he knows. How about we stop getting butthurt over mods doing what they think is best. They are just doing their job.
All the unnecessary drama in this thread could have been prevented if the moderators had just thought, "Maybe she has a point, and they didn't have to be removed due to the fact that they weren't causing lag. Let's not make this mistake again." That's all it takes, folks.
I think you missed my point that mobs are not the problem this time around. You are right that 1000 separate entities would cause problems, but this is not what I'm demonstrating in the pictures. Merged Mobs counts as 1 no matter how many are in the stack.
so my 34k sheep are gone already. They were there when I last played about 10 hours ago. Much sadness. But I've got a 14x sheep and 60x sheep just hanging around still untouched....
I am well aware that your sheep aren't causing the big lag issues that Skyblock has. I was just saying that by instinct that the mods naturally think it is since mobs have been "known" to do that.
Zach Saunders for whatever reason has decided to use the same picture as me. Please be careful how you reply. That player is not me. Also that player is not the one with the sheeps. That instinct is exactly why I made a big post to begin with...
