Add a mcpe version

I knew someone would have to post this at some point
and it just happened to be me.

I believe that Noob and Cyp should make a MCPE and possibly even Pi version if thats possible

I believe it will add a bigger more friendly community to help with other players.


Now I am putting cost into thought here
But I think that they could afford a skyblock server on mcpe...
The only downside that I could see is no MCPE bungee so only grass or money type economy.

I had to look up what either of those things meant. Thanks for using jargon when the normal versions of the words really aren't that hard to use. If anyone else is PC master race like me and didn't know what he meant:
MCPE = Minecraft Pocket Edition
Pi Edition = Minecraft for the Raspberry Pi.
(I'm pretty dumb)
Anyway. I don't think there are that many people who would be attracted to the server because of this. I don't really understand these different versions, but I sincerely doubt that all of our 50ish plugins would be able to translate to these other platforms.

actually, a lot of mcpe servers have already pulled it off ;x


ALSO there's a windows 10 thing of pocket edition, so you can play pocket edition on the pc pretty sure it's on the mojang page I think idk, which I wouldn't play because the pc version would still be, by far, better then pe ;I

no point in putting the effort as well, I mean, it's just generic skyblock with a different community

 

What would be awesome is if you could connect via all versions of mc. Then you could connect to skyblock from any device. I don't think it is possible though

Also adding to the plugin situation.

Aswell as possibilities of being incompatible; I'm not sure the time and effort into making and maintaining plugins for such a small platform would benefit or even give anything in return, at the end of the day it's all about money.

Here is the issue though. Prices for the different console versions are different. Pocket edition is $7 whereas computer edition is $30 roughly. If that is so, everyone would be more likely to buy the cheapest version on it. Not sure how that will work.

 

True. My only concern is that Every other minecraft will be called Minecraft. The PC edition will be Minecraft: Java Edition. Why do I care? Because Minecraft PC is the first minecraft. If it gets transitioned to Java Edition, jeb, one of the devs of minecraft, said himself that it may be a community edition. You probably wouldn't care, but it was the first version. Thats why I care.

I mean in the end it isn't our choice what happens. We aren't the ones who payed the money to buy rights to it. It's up to Microsoft what happens whether we like it or not. It's kind of similar to owning a server or a realm. The owner is the one who payed for it, it's up to the owner what happened. Think about it in cyp's case (I know cyp is a co-owner, but noobcrew doesn't hardly do anything anymore) regarding your suggestion, he is the one who pays to keep the server up and running. He owns the rights to skyblock, it's his choice what happens to it.

 

If it isn't very popular currently as the standard MC, I highly doubt PE (and pi, for the 40 people that would request that) would be a big community let down.
Good to see a fresh idea, but this isn't one that is needed/would work out at all imo.

 

I don't think the effort is needed on such a small platform.
