Animated Avatars

Okay so I upload a GIF file image, but the image isn't animated, or is that not how we do it? I'm trying to get an animated avatar so yea...

Pretty sure it should work for Premium Members (though it used to work for everyone >___>). I assume you can upload the gif but it doesn't move?

I can't test this myself because I don't have a premium account ._. Things I would check: Have the image downloaded, not hotlinked (I think this has to happen anyway). Make sure the gif works when you open it normally. Try uploading a tiny gif to see if it's image size that is messing it up.
It shows up as a JPEG on the website (see below), so it must be changing it. I'm not sure what's going on to be honest...
