hi my names salem im 19 and i never freakin learned how to read

uhhhh im on skyblock almost daily now so i thought i ought to check out the forums, im new to it all so im figurin it out. my island is a co op with 3 close friends of mine i refer to as my son, my daughter in law, and my brother. if you recognize the screen name driftily, thats me!

i have a deep interest in biology, chemistry, and animal behaviour, and im overly passionate about a series of unfortunate events and related medias like all the wrong questions! i tend to ramble about these things if you get me started. i sing way 2 much and ive been drawing since november of 2010 and started digital art august of 2014. my profile pic is my own art and at any given moment im thinking about how i could be drawing but my hands dont wanna cooperate. inspiration but no motivation o(-(

my typing aint the best half the time bc i have chronic migraines + other complications and My Body as a Whole Hates Me, my hands are pretty unstable at times. im also usually really dang tired bc of my migraine, so if i say something that doesnt make much sense just ask me to reword it! i also tend to drop off skyblock at random bc i just need to go lay down.

i use they/them pronouns primarily, im not gonna argue with anyone on this. i tend to ask for peoples pronouns out of habit

im generally a patient person, ill only get quick with you if you start saying rude things, especially over and over. hearing others talk about the things they love keeps me thriving

I really love biology and animal behaviour too - I'm thinking of going to a uni that does an animal behaviour degree next year. I mainly got into it because my mum did it for her doctorate, and we found a common interest in ecology and biology. I also really like chemistry, but did poorly in the tests, so I had to drop it ._. (My second love is linguistics tho )
I'm also a singer who likes art. What are the chances? You look like you're a lot better at art than me though. What's your DA (if you have one)?
They/them pronouns are cool, and I'll try to remember if I see you around. I do find it annoying when people use the whole "but they're plural pronouns" argument. I mean, if Shakespeare and Emily d***inson got over it, I'm sure they can too.

!! i think ive seen you on the server before, hey! oh my gosh ecology was a category of biology i Loved!!!!! chemistry is wild, science subjects are best when you have an enthusiastic teacher (which i was lucky to have)... linguistics is also something i adore, i wanna learn welsh? lol its a weird choice i guess but its one of the most phonetic languages out there, once you learn the pronunciations. funny enough, tests were my strong suit, it was always the homework that got me

i dont have a deviantart, i tend to keep my art to a tumblr but thats really personal for me, so i dont link it anywhere. i typically give the url to close friends, even if its hardly used these days

YES i mean the books!!!! ive also read the "all the wrong questions" series and im seeking to get my hands on 13 suspicious incidents, the beatrice letters, and the unauthorized autobiography of lemony snicket... hoooo boy im in deep, i can practically explain every single part of the books and the hidden things within them, and i have some solid theories about that sugar bowl.... i am so passionate about the snickets and baudelaires and quagmires dont even get me started
