Firstly, I feel as if you misunderstand maturity. Maturity is not having a stick up your butt, nor is it good spelling and grammar. Maturity is making the right calls, acting like an adult and not a child: acting rationally. I can't say I would have supported you when I last knew you, not because I didn't like you (as that's not relevant to the application) but simply becuase I did not think you were mature enough to be a moderator. However, you are now. Good job ;>

Next point: I never like it when someone puts "I've been banned but I've learnt from my mistakes" on their application. I can appreciate someone saying they'll learn, but it's the withholding of the reasons you were banned for that bugs me. Sure, they may no longer be relevant, but if you don't list them, it seems suspicious. If you do list them, you should probably include a specific paragraph on why these offences occurred, so what provoked the behaviour, and why it will not happen again. This shows real evidence of how you've grown as a person and I makes it feel less like you're misleading people.

Really though, you have grown into a reasonable, kind, and mature person. I would love to see you on the moderator team in the future, especially given the lack of moderation in your (our) timezone.

I can misunderstand maturity at times and I'm generally able to make the right call.
I realize how it seems annoying that it seems like I'm trying to hide why I'm banned. I felt it isn't necessary at the time, but I may put in the reasons.
Thanks so much for this. I really appreciate the kindness in this and the fact an iconic ex-moderator supported this just warms my heart. My heart has been so warmed today with all the kindness in everyone's feedback.
