MODS MUST BE CONTACTABLE

I'm not only going off of Dew's thread a long time ago, but I mean that mods can't and shouldn't leave pms for no reason at all, or excuses such as 'this is silly'. They mustn't delete profile post that were made in an attempt to contact them. They must be willing to talk.

 

And they shouldnt lock their profile

Yes but I'd allow that as long as you can pm them I think, and as long as they are willing to actually pm. But yes I do agree they should have their profiles unlocked. I'm not sure why people would even want it locked?

Definite support, not sure why any mods wouldn't want to help people. It is kind of their jobs to answer any queries people have about the server or forums.

 

Everyone who doesnt support this will most likely because a Mod with their Profile closed

Sometimes they're locked because they get harassed. There are plenty of other mods you can contact.

 

Actually in most cases you need to contact a certain moderator. The banning moderator? Yeah.

If you're getting harassed and you can't handle it, why are you here? You're not doing anything good if you refuse to be contactable.

 

You can always contact another staff member to contact them.
Or maybe people should stop harassing staff over and over again?

 

Depends what harassing really means now a days. I know from my experience in no way was I harassing this moderator and he didn't even suggest that I speak with someone else. He just told me I couldn't talk about the subject, which makes no sense at all because I'm concerned about it. If a player has a problem, mods have to be prepared to deal with it in an appropriate manner.

And harassment is a rule isn't it? Why wasn't I banned if I was harassing? Why hasn't anyone that's been harassing been banned? Because I feel you mods are using the harassment card too often as an excuse. If it's really harassment, ban for it.

 

If you're going to block yourself out from everyone, why moderate? Support

 

Actually it is infracted for. Two were yesterday for harassing a staff member.

 

Oh well. I was told I was harassing and I received not infracture.

As much as I respect the Moderators on this server I don't think they should be allowed to lock their profiles or make them available for players that they follow. They should interact with the community.

Yeah, you can always message another Moderator to message the Moderator you want to talk to but isn't that too complicated? Perhaps if you fee offend you can always ban him or if you are a normal player report him.
