Got Trolls?

Alright, so I have seen people react to trolls improperly, and get upset and in trouble due to inappropriate actions. I myself have been a victim of reacting improperly to trolls as well. Recently though, I have had a friend in particular who got in trouble with a moderator for whatever had happened.
Look, Trolls are out there for the sole purpose of making you upset. Just don't react improperly to them, because that is exactly what they want you to do. If you want them to stop, then stop reacting to them. If someone bothers you, just tell them to stop. If they proceed to bug you further to the point of harassment, then just report it; Harassing is against the rules.

Just remember the following:

• Don't react innapropriately to trolls, as this is exactly what they want you to do (It can almost always get you in trouble).
• If they bother you, just tell them to stop.
• If they keep probing you, then don't reply anymore.
• If they keep bothering you after that, then report it.
• Be smart.

It's actually dedicated to a different player, dedicated to my friend who deals with trolls. But I suppose having trollers read this wouldn't hurt.

u need to catch up on a lot of things around here before u start claiming an understanding of these forums bud.

 

Oh, don't worry. I am well aware that I still have more to learn. I've had people bugging me about a mod application, assuming that I have one out there. The truth is, I am not ready for it, I still have more to learn. However, I do know how to deal with trolls, thanks to advice from other experienced players and staff. Anyways, I do have some understanding of forums. Thanks for the tip though.
