Before you start looking at this Application, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this. I also appreciate any type of feedback.

Introduction: Hey, I'm ConorTheAssasin, with a nick of Conor. I have played skyblock since 2014. I joined forums in April, 2016. I am from Sydney, Australia. I love to play skyblock in my spare time because I love this community, and all the people in it, even if we have had a slip up. I have decided to apply for mod, because I want to help out this community, not to mention that there aren't many mods in my timezone. I love helping people out in game and on forums, so I thought this would be a good option for me. I will speak about the qualifications I can bring to the staff team, and a bit about myself. Enjoy.

I live in Australia.

What languages do you speak?

Currently, I speak fluent Spanish, and fluent English.

Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No

After 20 minutes of trying to, Yes, I do have 2FA enabled.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc)

I use Bandicam for evidence.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

Before you start reading this section, I highly suggest you prepare yourself, as this is the longest section in my application.

Active

I feel like activity is one reason I could become mod. A moderator needs to be active in order to help out with the server. Imagine a mod isn't active and people need help. This would be an issue because, really, nobody can help them out if it is a serious situation. I can play this server actively everyday, also I am active on forums.

Approachable

As a mod, you need to be approachable, meaning players can speak to me if there is any issue at all. If a member of this community asks a question in chat, I will answer responsibly and let them know if they have anymore questions, they can feel free to ask me. This brings me onto my next attribute.

Responsible

To be a moderator, one of the main qualities you need to have is responsibility. I believe that I am responsible and trustworthy. To be mod, you need to take the role seriously. I know from my past experience as a moderator that you need to take this role seriously.

Patience

Another contribute to moderating is patience. When I say this, I mean be patient with a player. This could be with trades when a player asks for my help, and the other trader is taking their time. Moderators need patience. I have shown patience in game, and I know that I am patient.

Fast Typer

I believe a moderator needs to be a fast typer for many reasons. For example. If someone nick abuses another player and changes their name back, a fast typer would be able to quickly see who that player really was. This is something, I truly believe a moderator must have. As for me, I am a very fast typer and I'm sure I will be able to catch the bad guys

Dedication

Finally, dedication. This server and community is amazing, something about it makes me want to play whenever I have a spare moment. And that is what I do, every spare moment I have, I hop on to this server, even if its only for a few minutes. Furthermore, when moderating on past servers, I realize that I don't keep people waiting. For example. If you get banned, make an appeal, I will respond as soon as I can.

If I become mode, I know that I will be able to help out this community and I could bring something to the staff team.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?

Monday - 6am-8am 4pm-10pm (6 hours)
Tuesday - 6am-8am 6pm-10pm (4 hours)
Wednesday - 6am-8am 4pm-10pm (6 hours)
Thursday - 6am-8am 6pm-10pm (4 hours)
Friday - 5pm- midnight (7 hours)
Saturday - Im off and on all day
Sunday - midday - 10pm

These are the times to my normal schedule although these may change at any time if something is happening in my life.

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)

Unfortunately, I have bypassed the rules a few times. Stupid of me. Most of those times were back in 2014 and 2015, when I didn't really know what I was doing. But I have learnt from those lessons and I have used them to get to a better person now

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

Yes, I moderated on a huge server which was shut down in 2015. That is all the experience I have had of moderating in minecraft. In this server I learnt the basic commands of a moderator. I was a chat moderator, which means I had to catch people who were abusing the chat or bypassing filters, etc.

Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No

Anyways I think I'm going to stay neutral for now as I've yet to see you actively helping in chat, probably because you only just applied. We could always use more Australian mods and I feel like you're one of the best currently applying. Good luck! ^_^

Alright, thanks for the support. As I have mentioned in the application, I have changed in the past few days.

 

I don't agree with the part when you said that he is rude to players, He is really nice to players in-game and on forums
